How do you know that question ?

Why do you generalize that every Salafi label an extremize Muslim as a Khawarij ?

What hinder you to say that every Muslim or Shia, or human label an extremize Muslim as a Khawarij ?

For my logic, in order to know Muslim extremize, i should seek the history of Muslim extremize from the beginning. I do not understand what is other common healthy logic.

The modern inheritors of the Khariji madhhab are the Ibadis, who are actually quite tolerant. When scholars (Sunni and Shi`a) use the term Khariji, they're referring more to a specific attitude. The historical Khawarij were very meticulous in their outward practice of Islam - their prayers were commendable in form, they would recite the Quran - but their hearts were devoid of the light of faith. They were harsh and divisive, doing takfir upon all other Muslims (and even on their subfactions), and they never truly digested the Quranic message. They simply used it to kill others.

Many militant Salafis share these qualities, and Sunnis will refer to them as Khawarij as a way to distance themselves from these groups.

The Imams of Ahl al-Bayt (as) knew that the Khawarij were not just a sect, but a spiritual disease when doctrine is mixed with hard-heartedness and narrow-mindedness. Meditate on the narrations below:

كَلاَّ وَالله، إِنَّهُمْ نُطَفٌ فِي أَصْلاَبِ الرِّجَالِ، وَقَرَارَاتِ النِّسَاءِ، كُلَّمَا نَجَمَ مِنْهُمْ قَرْنٌ قُطِعَ، حَتَّى يَكُونَ آخِرُهُمْ لُصُوصاً سَلاَّبِينَ.

When Imam `Ali [a] was told that the Kharijites had been totally killed, he said: "No, not yet, by Allah. They exist in the loins of men and the wombs of women. Whenever a chief appears from amongst them, he will be cut down, till the last of them become thieves and robbers." (Nahj al-Balagha, Sermon 60)

عن إسماعيل الجعفي قال: سألت أبا جعفر (عليه السلام) عن الدين الذي لا يسع العباد جهله، فقال: الدين واسع (2) ولكن الخوارج ضيقوا على أنفسهم من جهلهم

A man asked Muhammad al-Baqir [a] about the correct religion, in which the ignorance of a worshiper has no place. Imam al-Baqir [a] replied, “The religion is wide-ranging, but the Khawarij made it narrow for themselves due to their ignorance”. (al-Kafi)

سبحان الله أما رأيت الكعبة والطواف وأهل اليمن وتعلقهم بأستار الكعبة! قلت: بلى، قال: أليس يشهدون أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) ويصلون ويصومون ويحجون؟ قلت: بلى، قال: فيعرفون ما أنتم عليه، قلت: لا قال: فما تقولون فيهم؟ قلت: من لم يعرف فهو كافر.
قال: سبحان الله هذا قول الخوارج، ثم قال: إن شئتم أخبرتكم، فقلت أنا: لا (1)، فقال: أما إنه شر عليكم أن تقولوا بشئ ما لم تسمعوه منا

Imam as-Sadiq said, "Have you not seen the Ka`ba, the circumambulation, the people of Yemen and their clinging onto the cloth of the Ka`ba?!"

The man said, "Of course."

The Imam said, "Do they not bear witness that there is no god except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah? Do they not pray, fast and go on Hajj? "

The man said, "Of course."

The Imam said, "Do they recognize what you are upon?"

The man said, "No."

The Imam said, "So what are they to you?"

The man said, "Whomever does not recognize this Order (wilaya) is a disbeliever."

The Imam said, "May Allah be glorified! This is the saying of the Khawarij. If you want, I will tell you [their status]."

The man said, "No."

The Imam said, "Surely, it is evil for you to say something that you have not heard from us."

About the last hadith (brother @Qa'im, please quote reference) :

Is it true that : Khawarij says that a disbeliever is the one who does not recognize this Order (wilaya) ? (intentionally and unintentionally).

So Imam a.s. do not agree with this statement.

You have narrated some beautiful narrations. In spite of that, it doesn't say that they aren't a sect. 

Not saying that figuratively we can't call extremists as khwarij, but literally they aren't part of that sect. Instead, they are part of another deviant ideology. 

 

In our books, Khwarij are mentioned when discussing purity rules of different sects. They can't be just a name for narrow-minded extremists.
