Help- Same Marja, Conflicting Fatawa: What To Do?

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barkatuh,

Dear brothers and sisters,

I don't know how to begin telling this, but the problem is that I'm in something of a fix.

A while ago, I had emailed a question to sistani.org. As everyone here knows, they take a lot of time to respond, so I emailed najaf.org  as well, since they respond relatively quicker. The question was about a personal issue I'd rather not discuss here in public, so please don't mind that.

But now that I have received the replies from both the websites, I see that the fatawa given are contradictory to each other.

I initially thought that it must have been a typing error, but when I ran a search, I found that najaf.org has been giving the same reply for at least the past three years (they've been shared by other brothers as well), and that's too long a time for a discrepancy to not be caught and rectified.

To double check if it wasn't a mistake, I re-sent the mail to najaf.org, and their reply has been the same i.e. contradictory to the one sent by sistani.org.

What should I do in this situation? How do I know if the verdict of his eminence (ha) has changed, and hence the discrepancy and contradiction?

I would rather advice to visit his wakil and confirm from him.

I would, brother, but I don't have his contact details.
And najaf.org is personally overseen by sayyid Murtada al-Kashmiri(ha), his wakil.

Where exactly do you live? There should be a wakil of Sayed Sistani for a region. You may try asking details from local pesh Imam of a nearby mosque.

And so is Sistani.org taken care by his office. Talking face to face with a wakil would be better option.

I live in India, I am a revert, and the wakil here is Maulana Abedi, but he stays at Mumbai which is quite a distance from my home town. Also there is no wakil in my city, and there are no shia masjids in the city, only sunni ones . Hence the problem, dear brother.

I dont know anyone in Mumbai, or else I would have asked him to ask the question to Maulana Abedi on my behalf.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, brother.
