Islam predicted climate change

I can't give you direct sources but it is widely known that a drastic increase in extreme weather occurrences coupled with their increased intensity are a sign of the coming of the Imam (af) and the end times

What really bothers me are people who say that climate change isn't real or that we don't affect it in any way. We started pumping greenhouse gases into the atmosphere since the industrial revolution which started in 1760. That makes 260 years worth of green house gases pumped into the atmosphere. The emissions started low but grew exponentially over time. We utilize deforestation to create farmland, which we fertilize with animal feces which in turn also contributes to climate change. On that farmland we grow food for cattle, who are ofc also contributing to climate change just because of the sheer number of animals we are holding, and many other factors

To people who believe that climate change doesn't get affected by us and that it is a natural process I say:

in addition to polluting the air with greenhouse gases, we destroy the natural processes which you say would regulate climate change. Examples would be deforestation and the pollution of the oceans.

Most people who don't believe in climate change at all say it's a lie by liberals or some sort of propaganda.

Think about this though, who profits most if we do nothing about climate change, who would want us to not believe in it?

The fossil fuel industry, the military industrial complex, the aviation industry, the car industry and every other industry, corporation and lobby which makes billions by polluting our planet. They invest millions in bought studies about how co2 is actually a good thing and other nonsensical things.

And the overwhelming concensus of the scientific is still that climate change is real. This topic has been researched for decades now, people just chose to not listen.

I mean just look at who's side you are on, it's the right wing which denies climate change, Trump and the republicans would be the best example for this. Just think about it, the GOP consist of corrupt officials who are bought by corporate money, meaning fossil fuel companies ect. and all of them deny climate change.

And the people in positions of power all over the world who talk about climate change do literally nothing about it. In Europe for example, our politicians talk about what a threat climate change is and then they try to tax ordinary people for their co2 emissions.

We have to be clear about this, those who contribute over 70% of greenhouse gasses and other forms of pollution are big corporations, not regular working people.

One side denies it even happens and the other side only talks and does nothing about it

that should be proof enough that it's real.

Is anyone still denying that climate change really is happening right now and there's nothing we can do to stop it? Brace yourselves - it's going to be a bumpy ride. Either we adapt, or we go extinct.

@hasanhh Even if you don't believe in by man influenced climate change, climate change is part of the history of this planet. In the big picture, it happens gradually in half curves, zoomed in

Thanks. I vaguely knew that batteries are problematic, but I didn't know the extent or any details about the kind of damage.

OPINE: 10 Year Program to Waste 1 Trillion Euros.

The EU will spend 1/4th of its budget over each of the next ten years to reshape its economies.

https://www.euronews.com/2020/01/14/eu-commission-to-unveil-green-deal-to-make-Europe-the-first-climate-neutral-continent

:hahaha:

Just imagine it folks, cutting down trees, bull dozing the land and then trenching the ground to put in solar panel farms, where the solar panels --subject to animal and natural damage--  contain heavy metals like lead and cadmium (and mercury in the 'silent' switches). And since these are affected by cloudiness, fog, short Winter days and so on, the decrease in reliable power necessitates rolling blackouts.

l guess ltai-ltai and Minimata Diseases are only in eastern Asia.

l guess people will just have to learn to live without having their TVs, water heaters and chargers going all the time.

l guess Monica Rappaccini has taken over the EU. Of course, you Femi-nazis love that. :D

l guess also, that von der Leyen is the Green Deal's socialist sybil.

l again guess also the in the future, Brexit will be seen as an act of political genius.

Yarrabi !

"Love is a verb."  Such sciolistic semantics are irradiating to the intellect, steralizing the senses with puzzling crosswords. The word 'love' is only a noun. You can attach a suffix to make it an adjectivial word awarding attributions to another noun, but it ain't no verb.

But what is worse, notme, is that l seriously suspect you not only posted this to ruin my day, but that AN/PVS-2 is behind it --somewhere.

Nah man. Ignore it if it bothers you. I genuinely found it to be nice, positive. Other people might enjoy it too.

I didn't know what AN/PVS-2 is, so I looked it up. Night vision scope?

The tensile strength of ice varies from 0.7 to 3.1 MPa and the compressive stength varies from 5 to 25 MPa over the temperature range -10 to -20 degrees C. The ice compressive strength increases with decreasing temperature and increasing strain rate,  but ice tensile strength is relatively insensitive to these variables.   [Added lnfo:  Average Glass is 33 MPa. 10x"stronger"]

Cooked to Death

Another Climate Change Fraud

lt takes a minimum 68degreesC to cook a mussel.

So, half-a-million mussels are supposed to be cooked-by-climate-change ?

:hahaha:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/half-million-mussels-cooked-death-071523308.html

Allegedly, this occurs at Maunganui Bluff Beach, Northland New Zealand, Latitude 35 South across the peninsula from Ngawha Geothermal power station (produces 17% of New Zealand's electric power) and in between these two places dormant volcanoes (last eruption probably 400 years ago).

The area is located where the Earth's Crust "is thin" (maybe 4km), has a very complex geology, and in old volcanic areas. See:

https://www.gsnz.org.nz/pdf/MP129B_FT6.pdf  Fig.5

OPINE:  Business lnsider could do better than fall for this gag. This is like the story that wagu beef is massaged by geisha girls (Japanese gag of the 60s and 70s.

This is shameless corporate propaganda.

Note: over a decade ago, the Vietnamese gov't ordered farmers to rip out their tropically grown coffee trees as a price  supporting action; similar to the old US Soil Bank Program in the 1960s (farmers paid not to produce).

Brazil now produces 1/3rd of the World's arabica coffee.  https://www.arcgis.com/apps/MapJournal/index.html "Brazilian Coffee Production and Trade" ; a more general info article, https://www.climate.gov/news-features/climate-and/climate-coffee

So ABC news runs a feature pretending there is a coffee-climate crisis which is why the companies "must" raise the price you pay for your morning joe. https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/kristine-marsh/2020/03/02/abc-fears-caffeine-shortage-man-made-climate-change-could-make  -original ABC report included.

There's a hadith can not remember where but I go something like this.

Don't defecate under a tree, for a tree provides shade from the heat.

Something like this.

 Profound wisdom.

If people only took care their own personal garbage, we would have a clean environment .

Climate change is not our domain, Allah Domain.

What is noteworthy is at the end where it is reported that there is no recycling of Iithium.

ln short, like uranium, it is far cheaper to produce more Iithium and then dump it after short term use than to recycle it.

l found this old, half page article, which l will cite and use one quote.

"Russia to probe Arctic's floor, hopes to claim 'oil-rich' seabed", (Moscow) by Douglas Birch, AP, 28July2007 (local paper date),

"Arkady Sosnikov, chief engineer of Russia's Arctic and Antarctic Scientific Research Institute in St. Petersburg, said this year's (2007 -ed.) unusually thick sea ice could hamper the expedition."

The article does mention the area of sea ice was shinking, which we now recognize as caused by undersea volcanic activity.

Question: Was not this when, supposedly, the polar bears were drowning?

CO2

A cubic foot of dry ice weighs 80-100lbs .

2.4 billion metric tonnes ~ 2.6448 billion short tons.

There are 42,560 square feet in an acre.

At the mid-range 90lbs per cubic foot of dry ice, each acre at 1 foot depth of dry ice will weigh 3.8304 million lbs.

Ergo, 2.6448 billion short tons [divided by 3.8+ million lbs] will cover ~690 acres at 1 foot depth.

The Earth has 126 billion acres of surface. Divided by 690 = 1.83exp8 unit-acres.

Therefore, 2.6+ billion short tons at 690 acres per foot will cover the Earth with 690 divided by 1.83exp8 unit acres = 3.77exp-6 feet of dry ice.

That is what l call "thin ice".

Or to figure it another way, 2.6448 billion short tons = 5.29exp12 pounds divided by Earth acreage of 126exp9 acres -> ~42 lbs per acre. Compared to the 63,000 lbs of Nitrogen above every acre, not much. Or, that corn fields have in excess of 100 lbs of anhydrous ammonia applied to them. https://www.dtnpf.com/agriculture/web/ag/crops/article/2016/03/21/nitrogen-math-simple-calculations  as a reference

Allah protects our Earth and makes it habitable and beautiful, but that doesn't negate the ugliness of man-made cause and effect of our temporal realm. It merely allows humanity the opportunity to atone and fix the issues that are still within our control. If we don't, things only get worse.

I speculate that somehow, this coronavirus originated as a result of some environmental catastrophe that facilitated its initial production, mutation, and dissemination. Even if we never pinpoint the exact inciting event, there's no doubt its origins are from some prior ecologic calamity. Just like oil requires a deep disturbance in the world to extract, certain viruses arise when the natural barriers of the world are likewise disrupted to a significant degree.

The usual hype:  https://www.nasa.gov/press-release/2020-tied-for-warmest-year-on-record-nasa-analysis-shows

Although, it says it "tied" with 2016.  :ko:

However, admiting that Greenhouse Gas Emissions are  down in 2019 because of the pandemic, it is still a "record".

According to this, Greenhouse Gases peaked in 2016 and have declined since.
