Advice about relocating alone (female).

Asalamu Alaikum, 

I am hoping to get some feedback from the community regarding relocating alone to another state in the US or maybe even to the Middle East.

I have a Masters in History 

I’ve done community work and research

I’d love to earn enough as an Community College Faculty member or instructor (positions here are limited and they’ve changed hiring methods to hiring part timers on the cheap).

I can teach at an Islamic school (some don’t require a credential if you have a Masters).

I’d love to start community programs with Mosques and Islamic Schools but you often won’t find a paid position, I’ve been bad at networking here, and there may be road blocks.

I am unmarried, in my 30s and would like to set some roots down somewhere. 

Anyone living in Detroit or any heavily populated Muslims areas stateside (CA is way too expensive)? 

Anyone have any experience in these fields to share? 

Ive usually planned things and done them, this time though I’d like to think long term. Feel home somewhere.
