I know I can’t , no matter how  much I try to resist the temptation

Me either, I can't even stop at one Reese's Cup let alone a cookie, especially an Oreo. In all seriousness, I usually just have three, then I am good for the day, unless I am really hungry. Then watch out, it is a invasion on the box of Oreos like the world has never seen. It becomes a crime against humanity to merely watch the great devouring.

The key to stopping at just one is to open the box in a room full of children. Simply take the first one out, and when you reach for a second, there will already be none.

Depending on the cookie, opening the box in a room full of adults might work just as well.

I can stop at one but everytime i do it's like i am recovering from a heroin addiction as i walk away and try to forget about their presence on the kitchen counter. :worried:
