Just saw the new Featured Image. What a terrible tragedy in Indonesia.

Hundreds get killed and towns get devastated somewhere far away, and there's little attention given. Not even a mention of it here (as far as I know).

Does anybody live near there?

Leader’s message of condolence following the demise of university students

  • Dec 25, 2018
  • The leader of the Islamic revolution issued a message following the heartbreaking event of passing away of the students of the Azad University, Research and Sciences Unit.

In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful,

The tragic accident which resulted in the demise of eight dear university students and injured some others is extremely sorrowful and heartbreaking.

I express my empathy with their families and the whole of the academic community, and I express my condolences to the family members of these dear students. I ask Allah the Great to bestow recovery on the injured and blessings on the grieving families.

Sayyid Ali Khamenei

But actually it is even worse, considering the majority of Syria supports Assad, while in France Macron and the gang are against the people

Stupid things happening all over the world. They want everyone in on a UN pact so they can evacuate the middle East and build their abomination.

I'm hearing worse stories about the white helmets than I am about Assad. I actually have no idea, but I see video of the severe effects of a gas attack, (people shaking, babies dying, doctors collapsing over the people they are trying to help), but as the camera pans you can also see the legs of chairs and the feet of those sitting and watching. Then there are pics of one very unfortunate dude with a very unlucky T shirt. Seems everywhere he goes in that T shirt he either gets gassed, or blown up. Poor guy just keeps showing up wrong place wrong time. Always someone there with a camera. Sources are ambiguous.

Praying with thick socks on is problematic as far as I know.

How's that any different than standing on a carpet?

How is your niece now?

Oh, thanks the reminder, I forgot to update!

The urgent care clinic had said it was broken, but the ER said it's just a sprain and wrapped her wrist. She was playing like normal yesterday.

Hows that possible?

Did they not X-ray the arm in order to know for sure?

If the bones are broken there will be a severe swelling, even if there is no direct pain.

I don't know the details. All I know is the little girl is just fine, but will be sore for a few days. The duas worked. We're on our way home now, and they (my sister and her family) will be heading home later today.
