Recollections of Imam Khomeini Relating to Prayers

During the last month of Imam's life, he was ill and in need of increased supervision.  During the nights, a soldier would sleep just outside the door to Imam's room.  Once I asked that soldier whether he had any recollections of Imam from the period when he used to watch over him.

The soldier narrates: Imam would normally wake up 2 hours before the time of the Fajr prayer.  One night I heard Imam crying loudly.  I also started crying.  When Imam came out of his room in order to refresh his wudhu, he noticed me and said, "Oh soldier.  Value your youth and worship God.  The pleasure of worship is in youth. When you get old, your heart will want to worship, but you will not have the health and strength to do so."

Here's a random observation. I follow people who post about science and engineering and also people who post about politics on Twitter. On the weekend, the science and engineering people mostly don't Tweet. I've begun to suspect they're Tweeting at work, and I wonder if they're supposed to do that.

Another observation: there are two very tiny birds outside my window, at the top of a shutter. They look settled in. Maybe they've built a nest. On the other hand, maybe they're just sheltering from impending rain. This is the first time I've seen them.

Did anyone take a vacation?

Are you swimming?

Wa alaikum salam, sister.

One weekend my family went to an amusement park, and another we went to a water park. Later this summer we plan to make a trip to the beach - I love the ocean.

Mostly though, I've been home with the kids. I have managed to get started on my long-planned remodel/repairs to our barn, to make it suitable as a guest cottage and home office.

Okay, someone please explain this to me.

So I moved into my new place yesterday, all was well and good. Today I went out to get some groceries and electricals. So far, so good.

Then I go back to my place, open the door, step in. Sit down for a little while. Then I excitedly (I'm sad) open up my 64 GB USB packet so that I can hook it onto my keys. Couldn't find them. Doesn't matter, I'll get them after prayer and food, it's all cools. Go back later... still can't find my keys.

Cleaned the room, looked through every box, the oven, the fridge, the freezer, the kitchen cupboards, bathroom shelves... still nothing. Google searched duas for finding lost items. Went a rough 5 minutes of manic depression as I realised that I must be cursed till the day I die to keep losing things (I'm pretty bad with losing stuff).... still can't find them.

Got invited to play football, excitedly accepted. Can't go out, else I can't come back in.

Still can't find my keys.

I can't find my keys anywhere in this stoopid flat. Don't know whether I should take a nap and then try and find them. It's been a good 5 hours that they've been gone. I dunno what to do.

Why why why can't I be more organised.

@silasun did you leave them in the door?

Duas that you find them soon. You needed them to come in so they must be inside, right?

So basically it's a building with where I'm in the second floor. I definitely opened the main entrance (which requires my keys), and I always lock the door. I went out to check that the keys weren't in the door, and they weren't. Highly unlikely someone has stolen them as nobody is in (plus their macbooks and what have you are on full display... all that I need to take one is to leave my untamed nafs a little more untame than usual ).

Where else do people leave their keys? I checked the pots, pans, inside shoes. lol

This is one hell of an ordeal.

I lost an important card the other day.  I asked for dhikar from Sheikh Hussain Kourani.

This is what you say.

Alhamd'Allah I found it two days later.

@silasun take a nap, then when you wake up try remembering where you saw them the last time and try looking there.

Have you looked inside the shopping bags?

yep. I've literally been through everything everywhere in the room.

Did you change your clothes and leave the key in the pockets of what you were wearing before? Is there a crow or raccoon in the apartment, swiping shiny things?

I find that reenacting my entry to the rooms helps me find things - and I'm quite expert at losing keys, phone, everything, so I've practiced this a lot.

None of that has worked. I'll stay at home till tomorrow afternoon, and if I don't find it by then, I'll fork out £60 for a new set.

Say 119 time "یا حفیظ" (Ya Hafiz) & then recite 119 time

Ya bunayya innaha in taku mithqalahabbatin min khardalin fatakun fee sakhratin aw fee alssamawati aw fee alardi yati biha Allahu inna Allaha lateefun khabeerun (16)

O my son! surely if it is the very weight of the grain of a mustard-seed, even though it is in (the heart of) rock, or (high above) in the heaven or (deep down) in the earth, Allah will bring it (to light); surely Allah is Knower of subtleties, Aware; (16)

From Ayatollah Behjat (ra)

« اللهم انّی اسئلک یا مُذَکِّرَ الخیرِ و فاعلَهُ و الآمِرَ بِهِ اَن تُصلّیَ علی محمدٍ و آل محمد  و تُذَکِّرَنی ما اَنسانیه الشیطان ».

O Allah, rememberer of  the good and doer of it and commuter to it, I ask you to salute Muhammad and Al-Muhammad, and remember me that which Satan has taken away from me.

from Imam Ali(as) : do a two rakat prayer then say

from Imam Sadiq (as):  do a two rakat prayer then say
