LOL I have never watched a single match of football in my life but even I know that expecting Liverpool to win against Real Madrid is a fool's dream. You'd be better off supporting the Pakistani national football team.

Take away the two goalkeeping howlers, and have any player than Salah getting injured, Liverpool would have won it 2-1 or 3-1 based on how they were playing early on.

Anyway this is Ramadan so nobody is allowed to disagree with my post otherwise it's creating fitnah and breaking Ramadan protocol.

I follow Sistani but from the book notme shared it seems that the following is the order to do it:

1. The first choice would be to avoid living in locations like this.

2. If that isn't feasible, follow the timings of the nearest city that has day and night.

3. If a person is unable to fast according to the timings of the nearest city with day and night, he or she should make up the fasts at a better time.

But from what they told you, if I were to follow that, would that mean I fast as long as I can on a day and then I take the reminder of HOURS as qadha? Is that right?

More or less yes. But you noticed that he travelled with bodyguards so he must have some connections here, still things aren't as bad as bad as portrayed by the western media.

To be fair, there hasn't been much about Pakistan in the western news for a while now, the press seem to have set their sights on other countries. But given the amount of bad press that there has been over the last decade, it will take a while for people to view the country in a good light (with regards to the security situation)

About the body guards, aren't those mountain areas a little bit more dangerous than the cities?  I don't think that he was accompanied everywhere in the country. But it is a good service offered by the police, at least it shows a willingness to make the country more attractive to tourists - although it probably isn't very fare to waste money and resources like that when they could be better spent elsewhere.

The northern mountains where most tourists go are pretty safe. But if it gives one peace of mind, why not.

Foreign tourists are best targets for kidnapping by ISIS or Taliban groups in Pakistan for Shia muslims specially Iranians the condition is worser.
