Can you elaborate? Any narrations?

Bro, i have never heard that any among the sons of Imam Jafar al Sadiq a.s turned away from him. However, there are sons of later Imams that deviated but none among sons of this Imam.

Jafar-e-Kazzab who deviated from his religion and was brother of Imam Hasan al Askari. And it is not only among them, Hazrat Abu Hanifah formed his own Fiqh even though he studied under Imam Muhammad al Baqir and Imam Jafar al Sadiq a.s.

Was abu hanifa son of any ahlebayt member? Its also possible that his companions had formed a fiqh on his name after his death. Just like we have Jafari fiqh today on name of Jafar Sadiq.

Children

The question of succession after al-Sadiq's death was the cause of division among Shias who considered his eldest son, Isma'il (who had died before his father) to be the next imam, and those who believed his third son Musa al-Kadhim was the imam. The first group became known as the Ismailis and the second, larger, group was named Ja'fari or the Twelvers.
