Audhu billahi min ash-shaitanir rajeem.

Bismillah, ar-Rahman, ar-Rahim

AsSalaamu Alaykum,

In my humble opinion, we should focus on lessons learned from the Tragic events related to Karbala. There is a wealth of knowledge and insight stored in every action taken/ sermons delivered by Our Master Abu Abdullah Al-Husayn[as], Sayyidah Zainab[sa], Imam Ali ibn Husayn[as], Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas[as] and the blessed companions.

1] What is your understanding of the Message of  Karbala.

2] What lessons do you learn from events related to Karbala.

[Includes events leading up to Ashura, on the day of Ashura and events after Ashura including the caravan of the oppressed, events in Kufa, Iraq and in Damascus, Syria and their return to Medina.]

This is just my own personal view of how I've come to understand the inevitable tragedy that is Karbala. Note how I said personal. You can prove me wrong if you like. :)

1. The message is clear and simple to me although it is black n white. Evil may look like its winning, but Good shall always triumph.

2. The event of Karbala is symbolic to me in many ways because it is a culmination of all the previous tyrannical rulers opposed and relentlessly persistent to corrupt the teachings of the previous apostles of the past all encapsulated in this one event. I cannot believe how diabolical and cruel Yazid ibn Muawiyah was alongside his family as a whole. It almost tempts me to believe that Human Beings are Evil Born Creatures based on Christian Theology. He perverted the teachings of Islam in every way possible while Imam Hussain (AS) held the true teachings of Islam. He (AS) re-ignited my hope for Humanity that Human Beings are born good whom are drawn/tempted towards evil due to their ignorance.

I completely understand, what i do is not conventional and politically correct. I understand the consequences. I do not accept an acknowledgement, as a matter of fact i prefer that there is no acknowledgement or like or thanks or your a right and some should listen to what i said . What I said was it populer, did people like it or not , if not why not - will just be an obstacle and people will loose interest that no one cares or like/appreciates what they say.. Say what you have to say and move on.  Preferably, only constructive feedback to make you better. Consider yourself as an elite soldier, on a solo mission. No one is there to pick you up when you fall, no one is there to encourage you, no one to support you and  no cheering crowd. You and you inner strength is the only thing you can rely on. Don’t care what obstacles in the way, you stay focus on the mission and accomplish it.

Your mission here is to provide your understanding and not worry about anything else. If some one ask for clarification don’t be offended. You are helping that person to understand better.

Imam Hussain recognised and loved Allah. So imam Hussain sacrificed everything in this love for Allah.

Yes at our level we can say that we have to learn to sacrifice everything in the way of Allah to achieve eternal salvation. And what every the power a falsehood might have it has destined to face shame of looser.
