:bismillah:

You see now in the poisonous Western Dictatorship countries, more and more things that are and should be considered abnormal are becoming normal. Euthanasia is one of them. A hot topic right now is the legalisation of assisted suicide (euthanasia) and when this happens, since the west is trying to destroy any moral values; as time goes by they will increase its use, and broaden its reason for use. For example, the use of euthanasia was for palliative patients, now, its crazily considered to people with a perceived "mental illness", after it will be legal for whatever reason and this is the progressive push for all the corruption in the west from the 'leaders' of bad intentions in this dajjalic system.

Victims of this brainwash are told they do not have that long to live, or have the option to kill themselves if they wish. Medicine, or proper care was considered the only option for saving a life or controlling symptoms, never was it to intentionally murder someone. Patients that know someone cares about them (statistically) do not chose this option in legalised countries. However, others (since this society is so disconnected) have chosen it since being talked into it in some countries where they know they can do it, because a person is considered a "pain" and money waster for the health department #ResourcesOverHumanity. Is this what life is? The value of life is changing in the western definition, and it is time we know within ourselves the Islamic definition and be lanterns of guidance in such dark times.

"Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."

So would you like to live as a quadriplegic? - in constant pain due to illnesses? etc?. There are some who do not want to live and are told by those who want to live that the should?. Consider the social and psychological implications before going on a religious rant.

Regarding the value of life? - through out history value of life was only placed for the rich or those with status. the rest were canon fodder to labor. This includes in all nations including clergymen. That is why all men and women fight for position to create value before they are discarded.

@monad So you support euthanasia?  Do you think there would be a difference between the rich and poor quadriplegic when it comes to the right to live/die?

Maybe the poor man should make the exit journey as soon as he stops being a (financially)productive member of the society and the rich can live as long he want enjoy life in a lavish nursing home complete with spa and fine dining options?

This does not change the fact that it is not permissible according to religious law.

Now, surely some people may suffer and live in pain, but there are surely ways to minimize the pain.

There is evidence that it has nothing to do with wealth. It is more the right to live without pain or burden.

What you are mixing is eugenics. That already happens.

There are others who cannot handle pain anymore and hence need a way out. Many poor do it, if in debt, losing farms, oppression in marriages, life, work, slavery, prison, rape, mental health list goes on.

Do I support it? - I do not care if someone chooses it or not. Its their way of life and if the end is worse then this world, so be it. Choices are made each day, to escape pain towards pleasure.

The irony regarding the permissiblity according to religious law, makes me remember one of Amars lecture regarding how disabled bodied in our eastern cultures were treated?. Clearly religion  never applied for the last 1400years or so to those discarded ones that were not blessed with a working body.

Salam. Yes, this has always been Allah's mandate that He creates and he decides when it is our time to pass.

Thank you for the video. I might have seen it before, but I paid more attention this time and hopefully I will never forget it. Nick chose to live. Suicide is never an option for those who believe in God.

There was a man who had an accident and he became paralyzed from neck down. His all need were attend by 24 hours nurse. He beg to die but no one would do it, so he lodged his agony to the court. The court took his case, and hi was flown from his place to other city where the court was, as helpless as a baby. He cried there ask the judge for clemency,  he said his life was not a life.

Finally there was a sober human who saw it first hand face to face what it was all about. But the law definitely forbid suicide, so the judge used a way around it.

He said as a human we have the right to refuse food.

About two weeks later he died.
