what does Islam say about age difference between h

Assalam o alaikum... My husband to be is 12 years older than me..does our society and culture accept this much age dufference ? and what Islam say about age gap bw husband and wife? should I have to worry about it?

Islam doesn't regulate age difference in marriage. You can marry the person you find acceptable, as long as he is Muslim. Society is much more accepting of older husband younger wife than the reverse, so social attitudes shouldn't be a problem.

Back after the Civil War in the 19th Century, my Grandfather (b.1891) had an uncle who married his third wife --a double widower-- while he was a city mayor. She was 21 and he was 63. l forget how many kids they had. This was ~the 1870s.

Sister as you know Hazrat KHADIJA sa was older than HAZRAT MOHAMMAD saw.. And  that one is the best couple we know....!!! Age doesn't matter in Islam... And it doesn't matter by any means untill it makes no difference to you

12 years is really good age difference. Since women work hard and raise kids, they usually start looking older than their husbands. I have seen this happening with even the pretty girls who take care of themselves. Mostly married in 30s and 40s are running after girls who are 15 to 20 years younger than them. So with 12 years of age difference, you have some chance at happiness: your husband will remain interested in you for a few years at least.
