Need advice on tattoo

Is it bad or disrespectful or haram to get Allahs name tattooed,I wanna get bismallah,or bismallah el rehman el rahim,in Arabic,I dunno if I spelt it right.its a prayer correct,I feel it would b a nice tattoo because I wanna proudly express my faith,can someone explain the content in which that prayer is used,to my knowledge I say it when scared before I eat,if I'm amazed at somthing beautiful like nature,before I do anything I'm nervous about.correct or no?in the name of god saying it comforts me so I want it written on me to always remember to b faithful n do good.good or bad idea?

Basically does it make sense to do it is what I'm asking,and do I fully understand the words and context it's used,I know it will look good,any other ideas anyone has I would love to hear,I wanna get somthing meaningful and that will always remind me to b a good person and stay on the right path,words from the Quran are powerful and meaningful and I love quotes,hit me with some good paraphrases or quotes

Some Ulema allow a tattoo, but a tattoo with the name of Allah would not be allowed, because when you get filthy (najis) it would be disrespectful.

I think it will be a lot  better if  you express your faith through your deeds than your tattoo.

The problems with tattoos are they can be a health hazard, such as hepatitis, they do not look as good a people believe, cost a small fortune to remove, are a form of idol worship, and Biblically haram.

I agree with the comment above, tatoos are really unhealthy. They can cause skin cancer and other skin problems. Also, what if later on in life you wish that you never got a tattoo.

I want to get a tattoo but I'm really fearful-

1.) I don't handle pain very well

2.) I don't know exactly what I want to get

3.) I am afraid that later in life I won't like it and it is permanent ...

The other day my friend asked me to go get a tattoo with her.  I declined because of the above reasons.  I wish they would come up with an easier/cheaper/less painful way to remove tattoos, then I'd definitely get one.  Or demi-permanent tattoos (like demi-permanent hair that is mostly permanent but will come off after several months/years).

tattoos are haram fro-m a salafi/Sunni perspective, I used to be salafi! it imitates pagans and pagan culture from the days of pre islam(jalaliyah) its conserved haram by sunni scholars and hadths, I head from a shia its in bin al anwar,i might be wrong.

As the other brother said, getting Allah's name tattooed is not allowed because of when you get najis.

Also, who do you want to express your faith to? Others - why? 

Allah? He can read your heart, doesnt need a tattoo reminder

Those all sound like reasons to avoid one. 

You can always use temporary tattoo stickers. Don't know how effective they are, but that would resolve the concerns you've stated.

Question: Is it permissible to get a tattoo?

Answer: There is no problem in it per se.

 

2Question: What is the Islamic law about tattoos? Do they affect the wudhu and ghusl?

Answer: Tattoos are permissible and they do not affect wudhu irrespective of whether they are permanent or temporary.

 

3Question: Is it permissible for a woman to get her eyebrows tattooed?

Answer: Since the tattoos are done under the skin, there is no problem. However, if they are considered zinah (adornment) in common view, she must cover them from non-mahram men.
