On the one hand, the Supreme Leader of Iran has stressed on a number of occasions that the “Axis of Resistance” has successfully countered various Western schemes and has made notable strides. On the other hand, more and more Arab states are openly normalising relations with the State of Israel, along with Russia and China, while North Africa is becoming even more unstable in the aftermath of the war on Libya. Based on the evidence of the latter, the “Axis of Resistance” seems to be losing rather than gaining. How can these two standpoints or realities be reconciled?

Salam Normalizing relation of Arab state with Israel is not a new thing but it exposed in recent years , they were normalizing their relation with Israel before Iran revolution but Iran revolution and forming of Axis of resistance caused raising of awareness between Arab countries & gave a new hope & motivation to all anti Israel groups even individual people but in other hand Arab & Sunnis have good memory from cooperation of soviet union & Egypt against Israel but Iran doesn't has a good memory from  Tsardom of Russia &Soviet  Union but just sees current Russia & China as good allies & about North Africa  specially Libya if you search about Nigeria you will sea that Shia community of Nigeria with name of Islamc movement of Nigeria (IMN)  is under compelete influence of Iran that their leader Sheikh Zakzaki became Shia after visiting Imam Khomeini (رضي الله عنه) & spread Shia Islam in Nigeria that all of Shias in Nigeria & their scholars are receiving teachings fro Hawza of Qom but another North African countries specially Libya had hateful relation with Iran that only Egypt had good relation with Shah but after revolution became anti Iran but as I remember Libya was enemy of Iran even at time of Shah so Iran has no relation with Libya except disappearing or martyrdom of Imam Musa Sadr by Gadhafi that worsened Iran-Libya hate relation after Iran revolution that even killing of Gadaffi didn't fix it which until now every Libyan party   is inherited hate from Iran that although their conflict with each other whole of Libyan parties have joint point about hate from Iran.

The United Nations human rights chief, Michele Bachelet, has said she is "horrified" by the surge in fighting in northwest Syria and called for humanitarian corridors to assist the largest exodus of the country's nearly nine-year war.

"No shelter is now safe. And as the government offensive continues and people are forced into smaller and smaller pockets, I fear even more people will be killed," Bachelet said.

Nearly 300 civilians have been killed in attacks this year in northwest Syria, with 93 percent of the deaths caused by Syrian and Russian forces, she said.

And In other news:

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened to launch an operation in Syria's Idlib region by the end of the month if Damascus fails to withdraw behind Turkish military positions.

We continue to see an indiscriminate and brutal crackdown, and a spillover of hundreds of thousands of fleeing people into neighboring turkey. Fleeing for their lives.

But as of yet, Erdogan's words continue to be empty despite the amassed burden on Turkey having already received 3 and a half million refugees.

Turkey sends large amounts of ammo to Idlib ahead of 'large-scale op.': Russia

SANA’s reporter said that during the combing of Hayyan town 10 km northwest of Aleppo city, army units uncovered a network of tunnels and trenches containing headquarters and living quarters that terrorists had used.

The reporter said that the army also found a mortar launcher, a truck equipped with a heavy machinegun, and a variety of ammo.

French terrorists fighting against Syrian govt. forces in Idlib

French terrorists fighting against Syrian govt. forces in Idlib

FRANCE 24 reported on Friday that those Idlib-based terrorists are following orders from French militant recruiter Omar Omsen, head of an al-Qaeda-linked terror outfit, called Firqat al-Ghuraba.

"There are a few dozen people who have been in the area since 2013 and who have set up a camp on the Syrian-Turkish border," said FRANCE 24's Wassim Nasr, who spoke with Omsen via Skype.

The French terrorists pledged allegiance to the al-Qaeda militant group upon arrival in Syria, but "reclaimed their independence in 2018," according to Omsen.

Over the past few weeks, tensions have escalated between Ankara and Damascus in Idlib, the only large territory in the hands of terrorists after the Syrian military managed to undo militant gains across the Arab country and bring back almost all of Syrian soil under government control.

Syria launched the counter-terrorism offensive in Idlib and neighboring areas last December after its troops and those of Russia came under increasing militant attacks.

Bahraini Shia cleric sentenced to one year in jail over religious lecture

A Bahraini court sentenced on Thursday (February 27, 2020) Shiite cleric Sheikh Abdulmohsen Mulla Atiya Al-Jamri to one year in jail over a religious sermon he delivered few weeks ago.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA): A Bahraini court sentenced on Thursday (February 27, 2020) Shiite cleric Sheikh Abdulmohsen Mulla Atiya Al-Jamri to one year in jail over a religious sermon he delivered few weeks ago.

The authorities accused Al-Jamri of insulting Muawiyah Bin Abi Sufyan because he said "history books are full of figures that have no value to humanity and morals like Muawiyah and Banu Umayya".

Authorities pursue Shiite clerics for their religious lectures, accuse them of insulting figures glorified by another sect for speaking about Yazid ibn Muawiyah, the murderer of Imam Hussein (عليه السلام), or for talking about other historical figures, in an attempt to religiously restrict the Shiite majority.

Funeral held for Lebanese resistance movement martyrs (+Photos)

A massive funeral ceremony was held for members of Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement who were recently martyred in Syria.

Seyed Ali Ibrahim Zanjani, Mahmoud Adnan Hamid, Issa Ali Barji, Talal Adil Hamza Shams, and Ahmed Fayadh Mustafa were killed in an attack by Turkish military on the positions of the Syrian army in Idlib on Saturday night.

Ankara has been deploying troops in Idlib and has been engaging in direct clashes against Syrian forces in bid to assist terrorist groups halt Damascus' ongoing military operation in the province.

War against terrorism not battle of Syria, Libya only: Assad

Quote

Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest developments in Syria and Libya and the battle waged by the two countries against terrorism and all forms of foreign interventions.

The meeting affirmed that what is taking place in Syria and Libya is the same, and that the war against terrorism isn’t the battle of two countries only, particularly as it will determine the fate of the region in the face of the projects which some states are trying to impose on it through their tools, on top Erdogan’s regime whose policies have become based on using terrorism to achieve its political interests which are the main factor of destabilizing the region as a whole.

The two sides also discussed activating bilateral cooperation in all domains which the restoration of the diplomatic representation between the two countries represents its first step, and the reactivation of relations and ties binding the two brotherly peoples in a way that serves the mutual interests of the two countries and enhances the factors of their steadfastness in facing all of what they are exposed to.

@Ashvazdanghe

This may seem to be a trivial question about Ansar Allah (Houthis), but I have often wondered about their slogan, which refers to a “curse upon the Jews” in Arabic. Since Ansar Allah officially opposes Zionism and not Judaism per se, why does their slogan specifically use the Arabic construction for “the Jews,” since presumably there exists an appropriate term for “Zionists” and/or “Zionism” in Arabic? If a specific alternative to delineate Zionism (as opposed to Jews and/or Judaism) is available, then why haven’t Ansar Allah used it?

Hi in both Qur'an & hadith we only have word of “Jews” “یهود” for bad ones but good Jews mentioned  as people of book also number of good Jews is not significant in comparison with Zionists .

Let us be clear from the start, then, as to what has unfolded since last week and what will be the desired outcome. The Syrian Arab Army, a force for good, must not stop short of decisive victory in Idlib, the governorate in northwest Syria sheltering the last jihadist militias operating on Syrian soil

"sheltering the last jihadist militias operating on Syrian soil"

if only the civil war were truly so simple. The last of the militias, confined to Idlib. As if they'd just disappear if only Assad could access Idlib. If foreign forces were out of the way, all of Assad's failures could be erased.

Turkey, a claimed Islamist, expansionists nation, headed by a dictator bent on controlling Syria. Interesting perspective.

How long has this dictator erdogan been in office? 6 years? What about the Assad family? Since before most of us were even born? oh ok. Who is the real dictator here?

Assad is indiscriminately bombing all of Syria to rubble, causing literally millions of people to flee to turkey for shelter. Hospitals and schools, routinely bombed. And yet, somehow Turkey, who is taking on the burden of Assad's failed governance, is in the wrong for attempting to prevent millions more from fleeing and dying, by setting up a demilitarization zone. How dare a neighboring nation get involved in Assad's mess, when that mess spills all over and effects those around it. How dare turkey get involved when literally millions of people run for their lives, into turkey and call on turkey to help.

Assad is defending sovereignity of his country but Erdogan is trying to revive Ottoman Empire that this Idea is very older than whole of Assad family history also new Ottomans like Erdogan don't belive to coexistence with other faiths except radical Jihadist that their aim is killing all Shia Muslims then forcing their version of Sharia Law to whole world.

Saudi crown prince orders arrest of three senior royals, including his uncle: Reports

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, also known as MbS and seen as the de facto ruler of the kingdom, has reportedly detained three senior members of the Arab kingdom’s royal family, including his own uncle.

The 34-year-old crown prince ordered the arrest of Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, King Salman's younger brother, Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, the king's nephew and a former crown prince, on Friday, The New York Times, citing a relative and a person close to the royal family, reported.

Saudi authorities also detained Nayef's brother, Prince Nawaf bin Nayef, the report further said, adding that no reason for the arrests had so far been given.

However, another report by The Wall Street Journal, citing people familiar with the matter, said that MbS accused his uncle and the former crown prince of “treason”, alleging that the pair had been attempting to stage a coup d’état.

The two top royals, once-formidable rivals to the throne, are now under threat of lifetime imprisonment or execution, the Wall Street Journal report further said.

It was hoped for a time that Mohammed bin Salman’s uncle, Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, could try to prevent the ambitious MbS from ascending to the throne.

The other top royal, Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, had already effectively been under house arrest since June 2017, when he was abruptly relieved of all positions, the most important of which were the crown prince and the first deputy prime minister, by a decree from King Salman.

According to The Wall Street Journal, in the early hours of Friday, guards from the riyal court, wearing masks and dressed in black, raided the homes of the two senior royals, took them in custody and searched their homes.

Back in November 2017, dozens of Saudi princes, ministers and former ministers were detained and placed in a luxury hotel under tight security guard over allegations of money laundering, bribery, extorting officials, and misappropriation of public funds for personal benefits.

The detentions had been ordered by Saudi Arabia’s so-called Anti-Corruption Committee headed by Mohammed bin Salman, in a crackdown widely believed to be aimed at consolidating his power.

The majority of those high-profile figures later agreed to monetary settlements in exchange for their freedom and paid colossal sums of money.

The purge followed an earlier roundup of Muslim clerics, writers, economists, and public figures.

4th prince arrested in Saudi royal purge over alleged coup plot

Prince Nayef has held positions in both the Saudi Interior Ministry and the military. A Saudi military website still lists him in his former role as the head of army intelligence.

The arrests came just days after Prince Ahmed, the king's only surviving full brother and a potential rival to bin Salman, had returned from a falcon hunting trip abroad. His son, Prince Nayef, was with him at the time, a person close to the family said.

Prince Ahmed was one of only three people on the Saudi Allegiance Council who opposed bin Salman becoming crown prince in 2017.

In 2018, he made comments critical of the crown prince to protesters chanting for the downfall of the Al Saud dynasty in London, but later said he had been misinterpreted.

Mohammed bin Nayef was next in line to the throne before he was suddenly replaced by bin Salman in 2017. Since being ousted, Prince Nayef has effectively been under house arrest and prevented from leaving the kingdom.

Three sources with knowledge of the crackdown, including a regional source, said Mohammed bin Nayef and Prince Nawaf had been picked up at a private desert camp.

Iran & 'deal of century'

Tuesday, 10 March 2020 11:18 AM  [ Last Update: Tuesday, 10 March 2020 2:10 PM ]

The deal of the century claims to be the solution to the Palestinian crisis or Israel-Palestine conflict. But apart from its proprietors the Trump Administration, its beneficiary Israel and both their allies, the world at large has at best condemned the deal, and at worst simply laughed it off. Iran has a solution to it.

Named Israel, the territory aspires to greater Israel stretching from the Nile to the Euphrates. At a glance, it doesnt look like the Arabs would be giving up much. So whats the fuss? But look closely: the Euphrates joins with the Persian Gulf. Aye, and imagine how much of the middle-east a Jewish expansion would engulf. The Palestinian crisis is a matter for all; how it started and where its going.
