Is it haram to go to a concert?

One of my favorite groups is coming to Houston and I was wondering if it was haram for me to go. Please answer kindly as I'm just a child.

Even if your shia friend is going, you shouldn't because everyone has to answer for their own actions in their grave.

in my point of view, we are Shia. our ideology is more better than others. we need to present our perspective to others and notify them that:

by following our ideology mankind will growth and will feel happiness more strongly as before.

I hope you realize what I wanted to say.

No point going to concerts, you are paying to sin. It is better to go to masjids for free.

If it is a concert with harám' music (note harám') it is not allowed.

How old are you? Well, no matter how old you are, concerts are haram. If you live in an Islamic country there might be Islamic concerts that are halal. Since you mentioned Houston, the answer is no, concerts are haram.
