as salamu alaykum ya Mahdi madad,

 

with rajab sharul rahmat coming in the 29th/30th (depends on sightings, marja, region etc)  let us see who will fast the month with shaban in preparation for sharul Ramadan. it is known that the prophet sawa used to fast the whole month of shaban up until his death, and indicated he fasted rajab as while. imam ul mudaifan wali amr ul muslimin ayatollah udma ruhullah musawi khumanyi ra, in his tahrir wasilah and the farsi risalah novin, had recommended fasting both months with niyyah of mustahab. we have 51 rakats in a day 34 nafl and 17 rajab, 3 months fasting 2 nafl one wajib. imam sadiq as says "make nafliah salah for it compenstates for the deficiencies in the wajib salah"  some of the urafa deduced that from these hadith, and number of nafilah salah/saym maybe 1/3 of the wajib is accepeted on average, let us do 51 rakats in a day and night and three months siyam for these three  months.

anyone who wants to commit, doesn't have to announce but you can for the purpose of amr bil maruf anil munkar.
