Quran istikhara results

:bismillah:

:salam:

I want to start a business and since it's my first time, I fear the risks it might have, so I decided to do istikhara with the Holy Quran.

I followed method number 8 in the following link:

http://www.duas.org/istikhara.htm

The first time I did it, the result was verse:

32:21: “And indeed We make them taste of the nearer chastisement (in this world) before the greater chastisement (in Hereafter) that haply they may return (to Allah).”

Then, I doubted in my heart that I might not have done it correctly, I did it again and the second time, the result was:

11:107: “And if Allah afflicts you with any hurt, none can remove it but Him. And if He intends any good for you, none can repel His favor. He causes it to reach whomsoever of His servants He pleases, and He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”

The first verse is talking about divine punishment and the second verse is about Allah(swt)'s mercy.

Should I just stick with the first one? If so then I don't think it means anything positive. Does it mean I should refrain from starting a business and it might not be good for me.

Don't do istikhara on your own if you don't know how to do it properly. Contact a sheikh or a knowledgable/religious person and let them do it for you.

It's simple. 2 rak'at and that's it dear bro. Any man can do it.

Wait ignore my first post, I came to realize I was wrong as I read what Ayatollah `Allamah Shahid Murtadha Mutahhari said:

"...What kind of talk is this that the `Ulama (only) must perform the Istikhara! How many problems this misconception has brought up! An `Alim is sitting in his house, busy studying or writing, the telephone rings and the person on the other end asks: `Sir! I am sorry to bother you, I need an Istikhara...'

Regardless, I myself perform Istikhara (for others), and I am not opposed to it, but it is better that each person performs an Istikhara for himself. Some people have even said that it is not allowed for a person to perform an Istikhara for someone else and everyone must perform it for himself!"

To the OP, I read this by Imam Khamenei:

Q1427: Is it right to take istikhārah more than once for the same issue?
A: Since istikhārah is sought as a means of removing the state of indecision, a goal that should have been achieved by the first one, there is no point in repeating the same. However, should the subject of istikhārah change, one can do istikhārah afresh.

Some people say there is no need for Istikhara for a good thing. People make Istikhara for a doubtful thing. Any explanation?

Exactly, but I dont understand the reason of their doubt, if they have trust on Allah.

Surah At-Taubah, Verse 51:

Say: Nothing will afflict us save what Allah has ordained for us; He is our Patron; and on Allah let the believers rely.

(English - Shakir)

I don't know, there's huge uncertainty involved in starting your first business. Isn't that something doubtful? Well, it's something good, since it's a means for providing sustenance, maybe I should just rely on Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì and go for it.
