Some people on Twitter claim that this is anti-semitic

@Haji 2003

I think that Trump is alluding to irreligious, liberal Jews such as George Soros who promote LBGTQ+I, feminism, abortion, open borders, and so on. Trump’s anti-Semitic base feels that too many American Jews are liberal on social issues and therefore want them to live in Israel instead, leaving “conservative” white America alone, so to speak.

This “solution” would satisfy the evangelicals’ pseudo-“conservative” worldview and eschatological outlook.

Strangely, neither of the two major political parties seeks out the support of religious Jews, who happen to be the most socially conservative and the most anti-Zionist. There are plenty of Orthodox Jews in the U.S. who belong to the latter, including the Hasidim, yet Trump and his supporters act as though they don’t exist.

The irony is that many “conservative” Christians in the U.S. have more in common with secular than religious Jews. Evangelicals and secular Jews are much more socially liberal than Orthodox Jews, yet at the same time also much more supportive of Zionism, as well as hostile to Islam. Secular Jews also promote anti-religious views.

Bizarrely, the evangelicals rabidly support the secular Jews on Zionism, yet push back against their licentiousness. Also, the evangelicals have no objection to “conservative” women going about unveiled and taking part in politics, whereas Orthodox Jews, for instance, enforce veiling and relegate women to the domestic sphere.

The Zionist West is in love with Jews who have shed their Judaism, yet discriminate and encourage antisemitism against Orthodox Jews, the latter of whom also happen to be the most anti-Zionist. To be fair, I also blame the Orthodox Jews for being quietist and not mobilising as a political bloc against atheistic Jews and evangelicals.

He's bragging again. Saying if he is not the next president of the United States, Israelis could make him their prime minister. :rolleyes:

Impact of Trump's Muslim ban

Quote

A year-long HuffPost investigation found hundreds of cases of Trump’s ban changing the lives of Muslims, both inside the United States and around the world. Families have been ripped apart. Educational and employment opportunities have been denied, maybe forever. People have missed milestones like birthdays, funerals and weddings. Some gave up on coming to the U.S. and instead relocated to another country, while others have been trapped in war zones.

It is easier to fool people than to convince them they've been fooled. It's like a cult - the worse it gets, the tighter they will cling.
