Wa alaykum salam,

- smile and be friendly.

-  make eye contact with your interviewer at all times.

- dress smartly and get there 10-15 mins before your interview starts. If they ask you to wait , dont go on your phone. Just Sit there and wait patiently.

- Be confident, and speak SLOWLY AND CLEARLY. (Extremely important)

- Do some research on the company  and base some of your answers around that company. Because they might ask you questions like :

why do you want to work here? (If its a company like M&S , you would talk about your interest in plan A , and their partnerships with orngaisations like unicef, woodland trust etcc....things that make them an ethical company. )

What makes you suitable for this role? (Here, you might want to talk about your qualities that are related to the job role. I.e your good communication skills (useful for customer service),  your willingless to adapt to changes, your creativity skills.. etcc.

Also, think of a few questions to ask them at the end. I.e " what's an average day like for  ........... (the position you're applying for)  or  " how is this company planning on achieving ........ (a particular mission or aim that you've taken interest in)

- practice other questions they might ask you. Just search these up on the internet but make sure you type in your role and the company you've applied to , so the practice questions are specific to that company and to your role.

Some other possible questions :

I.e  describe your journey to this place, describe a time when you've had to contribute to make changes/improvements to a certain situation or place, describe a time when you've had to overcome a struggle, etcc..

Best of luck! May Allah give you success. :)

They might also ask you a few situational questions or other unexpected questions that you might not know the answer to.....SO you must listen carefully and say " could I have a moment to think about this please? " they will say  " yea sure, take your time" . Then just think calmly and dont panic/rush. Take a few seconds to think on the spot, and then reply back slowly and confidently.  But if you still fail to come up with an answer , then just say "sorry i cant really think of any off the top of my head right now " They wont mind and will move on to the next question.
