I thought it was tomorrow also. I was ready to mourn imam askari  (as). I need to keep track of islamic dates :grin:

Salam. In the US; there was some doubt about the Islamic date. The moonsighting showed that December 1 was Rabi Awwal 1, so today is the martyrdom of Imam Hassan al-Askari. However, a wellknown Islamic website sent an email on December 7 saying that December 8 is the martyrdom of 11th Imam AS. Some people didn't read the email but misunderstood, so they think yesterday was shahadat day. In the US, today is the mourning of the 11th Imam AS.

If it is Rabi Awwal 9 where you live, congratulaions on the day when the 12th Imam AJ began his reign as Imam Zaman AS.
