what is bad?

I believe there should be no reason to elaborate further, it is as the title asks; What is your concept or idea of bad? and how do you define it?

I agree that life must be simple and logical, however the concept of human wrong is a little complex and should be defined by a set of rules the reason for my question was to collect data and come up with said of rules

Absence of goodness is known as bad. Bad itself is nothing, it is just relative to measure the quality of goodness in someone or something. Everything exists is created by Allah (s.w.t) who is Ahsun ul Khaleqeen, so "Ahsun" which means good, is the basic characteristic of everything. Those things which are given the "freewill" (i.e., the ability to accept of reject the divine message or command), creates the "badness" by rejecting the divine message or command. 

That's what I think!

A human without feelings. There are three types of people in this world today.

1. Human

2. Dead 

3. Walking Dead

"Bad" is anything that goes against the command of God.

Death seems bad, and anything that leads to or promotes it.

Everything unacceptable by society is considered bad. for example if a person is gay in today's society it is normal however if a person was a gay in society 50 years ago then he is a BAD person. (this is just an example)

Apart from what the Quran says, being bad or behaving bad is all controlled by the society of the day as per my example above.

So in essence, what is considered as bad today, might well be considered as great tomorrow.
