Oh wow, I didn't know he had called for debate, he should be ready to debate then if he did. I still don't see anything productive coming out of this though, really the Facebook statuses and comments just seem like they don't care for the truth, its all about oh we gotta beat them through whatever means.

Salam alaykum

Debating requires more than knowledge, it requires a lot of cunning, quick-action and power over words and rhetoric, and knowledge of whats in the opponent's books, rather, memorization of all that. So even a great alim may not have the prowess of a debate.

Debates often result in those sides winning who are more cunning and hold more rhetorical power, than the one who speaks the truth.

What the Shias need to worry about, rather than having career debaters who do not know how to uphold the etiquettes of the Aimmah a.s. "defend" our faith, is to ensure that we call those speakers who, when they mention things which are contravertial and anti-sunni they are accurate and their material is backed up with proper proof, not in the way sayyed ammar handled it.

Khalid ibn waleed converted after conquest of makkah? really???? khalid was a hypocrite, but lets not provide his supporters ammo. you're walking right into it, if you are so cavalier with historical accuracy

And really, most of sayyed ammar's lectures are like this, good oratory and loose with facts, and involvement in jurisprudential and theological affairs that are far from his reach

Salam.

This is my fourth video in response to Sheikh Asrar's challenge to the Shia ulema to debate him in respect of this personalities that Umaries hold with deep respect. I've made it clear that I'm prepared for a series of debates on his conditions to address polemical issues in which we differ. It is indeed unfortunate that Rashid hasn't contacted me directly, and has in fact deviously sought to fix a different topic. What began as Sheikh Asrar's debate challenge to address the points raised by Ammar Nakshwani's lecture "Radical Islam" has changed to "Do the Shia represent true islam".

This topic is like asking "how long is a piece of string?" - and Asrar has done this intentionally, as he wants to dictate the debate as he wants, discussing whatever pleases him, highlighting the topics of his choosing so the Shia Muslims are in effect walking into a dark room that has no light switch. This topic is so wide it needs advance notice of subject matters so i would know the topic and Bakri sources I will rely upon to defend ourselves.

There is no way that this could be settled through one debate, which is why I proposed a series of debates with Rashid on those topics on which we differ. I would ask that the Sheikh stop playing this silly evasive game, behave fairly and engage properly with me so we can proceed to a fair debate. I've given you my contact details in this video and look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Your name is highly contrasting to your post.

First of all, "make believe" is a subjective concept.

Second of all, no one who claims to be wise mocks another faith, especially when that faith is almost identical to yours.

Lastly, the tired argument presented by the layman masses about "there is no Shia in the UK to debate him, let's proceed to mock all Shias" is getting boring. No Alim is obliged to come forward and debate any challenger. Also, mocking members of the school of Ahlulbayt because no Alim came forward is a ridiculous generalisation so as to say that automatically, any member of the school of Ahlulbayt in the UK has to be represented by local UK Shia Alims whether or not they actually know said Alim.

Sheikh Asrar Rashid Exposed.

All praise be to Allah (ﷻ) who has exposed those that love the enemies of the Ahlubayt (عليهم السلام).

Sheikh Asrar Rashid on his Facebook status on the 30th October 2016, Sheikh de jour Asrar Rashid mocked the UK based Shia for their failure to arrange a debate venue by the 29th October and on the 30th October proclaimed to his ardent fans via Facebook that there would be a debate at 8:30pm on the 5th November 2016 at Woodlands Road Mosque. Asrar also said the Police would be present to deal with any trouble makers.

The Shia responded to his challenge, we started engaging those willing to attend and also identified a Shia scholar(s) who would debate Rashid on our behalf. As we were going to attend a hostile Bakri environment we thought it apt to seek confirmation that the police would indeed be in attendance.
The local police were contacted today (2nd November 2016), and we received the attached response from Sergeant Choghtai.
Two important things emerge:

*1) The police were unaware of this debate at the mosque venue;*
and

*2) The mosque president didn't have a clue about it either and would not allow this debate in any case.*
Allah (ﷻ) says in The Quran, Surah Hujarat, Ayah 6:
"O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful."

All praise be to Allah (ﷻ), we inquired into this matter and Sheikh Asrar has now been exposed to the world as a Fasiq.

He misled his fanbase into thinking he was arranging a debate with Rawafid, when he had infact done no such thing. Sheikh Asrar has now destroyed his reputation, credibility and should hold his head in shame.

In light of this serious act of dishonesty, the time where you call the shots and dictate the debate terms has gone. If you really want to debate us, rather than mislead your people into thinking that you do,

Then you will respond by:

*1) Agreeing to debate us on the topic "Are all the Sahaba just and in Paradise?" at a neutral venue of our choice. Details will follow shortly*
*2) Attendees for both sides shall be limited to no more than 30 from each side*
*3) Both sides will be permitted to record the event and live stream it / upload it to any media channel of their choice.*
We will ensure police presence at the said event. You have until the 4th of November 2016 to accept our terms.
Note regarding the confirmation of the above. Pleasd do not hesitate in contacting;
Sergeant Haroon Chughati
https://www.police.uk/west-midl…/…/sergeant-haroon-chughtai/
And Mosque 'Imam Sheikh Asrshad'
Jamatica Islam Center, Woodlands Road, Sparkhill Birmingham
Email; arshadsufi1970@gmail.com
The following email was sent;

Dear Sergeant Chughtai

I have been informed that you are the Sgt responsible for the Sparkhill area in Birmingham.

On Saturday the 5th November at 8.30 pm an academic religious discussion will be taking place in the Jamatia Islamic Center on Woodlands Road. This discussion will be between two different ideologies within Islam, Sufis and the Shia's.
This event should be a peaceful and spiritually beneficial event, however I have grave concerns that certain elements within the community may use such an opportunity to commit acts of violence, causing sectarian tensions to erupt upon the streets of Birmingham.
A visible police presence would reassure those wanting to attend the event that they will be safe and that acts of violence/ intimidation will not be tolerated by the Police.
As you have a good working relationship with the mosque and it's community leaders it would be helpful if you would liaise with the mosque to ensure that the event on Saturday is a peaceful, safe event which showcases effective cooperation between the Police and the community.

Best wishes

Please find response from the station.

[17.81] And say: The truth has come and the falsehood has vanished; surely falsehood is a vanishing (thing).

lets just summarise what this lying bakri idiot has been up to

- he challenged ALL the shia in the west to a munazara anywhere, any time
- he then set the time and date
- he then revealed the location
- he then changed the subject of the debate to something incredibly wide ranging so he could "jump" to different topics when backed into a corner

in reality, he never booked any venue. he never liased with local police for any police presence. he never even responded on the same facebook page to shias. he never responded to sheikh allahyaris multiple videos and statements.

today, 3 days before the so called "event", the president of the location he himself set, confirmed without any doubt that no event was booked, and it absolutely would not happen at that mosque at any time.

the mosque in question is a converted 2 bedroom house in the middle of some ghetto in birmingham.

this is (yet another) victory for shia.

both asrar and nakshawani have had their reputations utterly destroyed. I think this is fair.

I disagree brother about Nakshwani.

He did the right thing by not engaging a fool. The dog aka Asrar barked, Ammar ignored it.

Now if the Grand Mufti of Saudi or Al-Azhar called Ammar out and he didn't answer, then I would agree with you.

I think my anger at nakshawani isnt that he didnt respond - you are absolutely right that no one needs to respond to any barking dog on the road. my irritation at him is purely that he literally challenged anyone to a debate on the munazara, and then as soon as he was challenged, he vanished. you do not know how much trouble this has caused in the UK firstly between bakri and shia, and secondly within the shia community itself. all this could have been avoided if he didnt brag to impress hijabis on the prophets mimbar, or secondly actually stood by his words.

if it wasn't this, the bakris would create trouble over something else :)

Someone posted all this on facebook, the bakri getting exposed and just like clockwork the posts got removed and the Shia posters banned from posting in his page. Nothing to hide eh bakri asrar?

Also totally disagree totally that Sayed Ammar got exposed, like someone said before he just left the dog to bark and the dog got exposed by himself.

I think the dog got exposed by 3 weeks of rafidhi shia efforts pretty much 24 hours a day actually

To debate or not to debate, that is the question!

Having exposed Sheikh Asrar “Fasiq” Rashid for misleading people into assuming that he had arranged a debate with the Shia at 5th November 2016 at Woodlands Road Mosque with a police presence when the truth was both the police and mosque President were ignorant of the alleged event (for which we appended supporting email evidence), we note how he has thus far gone completely silent, and his Bakri adherents that manage his Facebook account (so vocal over up until now) have been furiously deleting our posts and banning those Shia that highlight his fall from grace!

The Fasiq Sheikh’s followers tried to rectify the matter by releasing a statement on the Woodlands Road Mosque Facebook Page declaring in a status update that the debate was going to take place, only for them to delete that and release a further status update declaring that no debate would be taking place!

Whilst the normal decent thing for Asrar to do would be to apologise for the manner in which he had deceived the people, we know his ornerier nature, that is of course conduct becoming of a Fasiq, we therefore opine that he will set out to dupe his dim-witted hordes through “damage limitation”.

We can predict that the next status from Sheikh Asrar “Fasiq” Rashid will allege that the venue was pre-booked but the committee were forced to make a U-turn as the Shia were planning to partake in violence in order to sabotage the event.  We would urge his fan base not to act like lummoxes and simply accept what their dear Sheikh Fasiq will say, ask yourselves logically, why would a handful of Shia plan on entering a hostile Sunni environment surrounded by your Shaykh’s fanboys and partake in violence?

That would be the height of stupidity on our part. We would be hopelessly outnumbered and would risk exposing ourselves to serious harm with no means of escape. That was the reason why we sought to ascertain from the police as to whether they would be in attendance as we sought assurances that we would be protected in the event that emotions and testosterone levels got to the better of Sheikh Fasiq’s followers and they mounted an assault on us.

Sheikh Fasiq Rashid, it is time for you to stop playing these deceptive games, are you prepared to debate us, yes or no?  If you and you are a true adherent of the Shaykhayn, then we repeat our challenged, namely that you respond by:

*1) Agreeing to debate us on the topic "Are all the Sahaba just and in Paradise?" at a neutral venue of our choice. Details will follow shortly*

*2) Attendees for both sides shall be limited to no more than 30 from each side*

*3) Both sides will be permitted to record the event and live stream it / upload it to any media channel of their choice.*

You have until the 4th of November 2016 to accept our terms.

He certainly considers himself above debating them, especially after his dabbling in academia. The "Imam Ali Chair for Shi’a Studies" probably isn't going to go around debating random Facebook trolls.

The Sparkhill police was not informed but there are arrangements. This police thing is being used as an excuse.

Besides the event is going ahead and the new venue is near yhe previous.

The event happened and Shia did come. The Shia were shocked at Sh Asrars impeccable manners and complimented him. They have agreed to organise tge conditions in private and hold a debate in private then release the video.

Sh Asrar also did a very detailed lecture on the Shia hadith and Sunni hadith.
