حي على  means come towards or it means start/begin ?

and how do we pronounce  المعزين  . al-moizeen or al-mazeen

Yes it means come towards, because it felt weird to use the word إبدأوا which means start/begin.

i m a member of a mourner group who recite lamentations and do matam. and i want to use these during these lamentations. please guide me

I was gonna use سارعوا but حي على is more accurate
