Can someone explain to me how fitted trousers/normal jeans or short tops that lift and expose your lower back cover the minimum hijab requirement for men?

Yet we don't hear a peep in our mosques and from our educated brothers on these outrageous exposures in our holy places of worships and gatherings.

Also i doubt over styling your hair and donning clothes/accesserories that attract females attention is appropriate hijab at all!

Modesty is key here..

Scholars like Shaykh Makarem Shirazi say men must be fully clothed in public as well and cannot wear such clothes.

Islamic Clothing in public is similar to the standard that the Arabic long clothing goes by.

Long sleeves, long trousers , and not fitting.

T-shirts and short sleeves have become the norm similar to ladies clothing which have shrunken, but it isn't the standard of Islamic clothing for men.

Hair style etc should not resemble to those who belong to a specific group, who want to make a crazy statement, and draw attention in a negative manner.

But most men unfortunately don't observe these nowadays.

Unfortunately, it's a cultural problem. People are much more careful about making sure that their daughters are properly dressed than their sons, and are generally much more strict with their daughters.

Of course, it doesn't help when certain well-known speakers who are popular with the youth, set a bad example and promote a westernised materialistic lifestyle that they claim fits within Islam. Well, it may abide by the law, but it certainly doesn't abide by the spirit of the law. One of the worst things about Muslim youth culture is the desire to have an 'Islamified' version of Western popular culture. This leads to all kinds of nonsense like stupid haircuts, ridiculous and/or ridiculously expensive clothes, pop idols who sing nasheeds, nasheeds that look and sound like pop music, making idols out of sportspeople or sports teams, etc. Unfortunately people don't realise that the culture that they are trying to imitate is rotten to the core, and putting an Islamic gloss on it won't be enough to avoid the negative consequences of such a lifestyle.
