Getting married in grad school....help?

I want to get married to this girl, and I am 17, and I want to get a PhD in economics, but while I am in grad school I won't be making much money........the stipend is barely enough to survive off of.....and the girl I want to marry is the same age as me, and so I'm worried if I wait until after I get my PhD she'll have gotten married to someone else by then.....what should I do?

Talk to your parents.  They may help you out or approach her family explaining your situation.  You could have a longer engagement.

What if she works while I am in grad school, or we delay having a family until I get my PhD? and if I am engaged to her for 6 years longer, does that mean she is still a namahram?

That's stuff for your families to discuss together. Don't assume anything, just ask. If she's right for you, it will work out.
