the awaited month is near

Imam Jafar al Sadiq (a.s.) says:

"When you fast, guard your hearing and sight against the forbidden, and your limbs and all other organs from the vile. Do not rave at or injure a servant. Be dignified as a fasting person should, and keep silent and calm, except when remembering Allah. Do not regard your fasting day as an ordinary day and refrain from intercourse, kissing and loud laughter, because Allah dislikes that."

Imam Jafar al Sadiq (a.s.) said:

"If a fasting person when abused, replies peace be upon you I will not abuse as you do, the Lord, the Exalted and Most High says, By fasting, My servant has saved himself from the evil of My other servant, I grant him refuge against the fire."

The Book on Oneness of Allah (God)

Chapter On The Meanings of the Names of Allah and their Derivatives

H 309, Ch. 16, h 1

A group of our people has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from al-Qasim ibn Yahya from his grandfather al-Hassan ibn Rashid from ‘Abdallah ibn Sinan who has said the following.

"I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the interpretation of the verse of the holy Quran, ‘In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.’ The Imam replied, "The first letter B in the Arabic version signifies Baha ’Ullah means beauty of Allah. The second letter S' signifies Sana ’Ullah means radiance of Allah. The third letter M signifies Majdullah means the Grandeur of Allah or according to some other narrators, Mujdullah means Kingdom of Allah. Allah means; Lord of all things. And al-Rahman means the Beneficent to all of His creatures in general. Al-Rahim means the Most Merciful to the believers in particular."

Ya Ali Madad

Once Imam Ali (as) was approached by an inquisitive man from Yemen. The Yemeni asked the Imam if he had ever seen Allah. To this Imam Ali (peace be with him) replied that he refused to worship any being that he could not see. The baffled inquirer asked how it could be that Imam Ali could see the Unseen Allah. The great Lion of Allah said that it is not the eyes that see Allah, but it is the hearts that see Him and are brought near to Him if they please Him.

The Prophet (pbuh) of Allah stated:

"Oh! those of you who claim to be Muslims, but failed to let faith enter into your hearts, do not speak ill of Muslims and do not find faults with them. Whoever find faults with people, then Almighty Allah will be doing just the same while looking into their faults; and in that case they would be disgraced among the people, even though they may remain in their own houses."

Muhfaddhal ibn Umar has said, "I asked as-Sadiq, Ja'far ibn Muhammad (as) concerning the words of Allah the Glorious and Great, "By Time! Verily mankind is at a loss" and he (as) said, "By Time refers to the time of the coming out of al-Qaim (as) and Verily mankind is at a loss refers to our enemies and except those people who believe meaning those who believe in our signs and perform righteous actions meaning they are together with their brothers (in faith), and enjoin one another to the truth meaning they enjoin others to our Imamah (leadership) and enjoin one another to as-Sabr meaning they enjoin one another to patience during the time of the occultation of the Imam."

Im lookin for the hadith that talks about Imam Mahdi greeting the Khorasani with his left hand, because his right hand was injured greatly by the enemies. This in fact god willing, is the very Sayed Khomeini.

Imam Jafar Sadiq (as) has said:

Pride is a plant whose seed is disbelief, whose earth is hypocrisy, and whose water is transgression. Its branches are ignorance, its leaves are misguidance, and its fruit is being cursed to remain in the Fire forever. Whoever chooses pride has sowed disbelief and cultivated hypocrisy. It is inevitable that it must bear its fruit and he will end up in the Fire.
