Mahmoud Abbas meets head of terrorist organization

An adviser to Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has harshly criticized the recent meeting between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the ringleader of an anti-Iran terrorist group.

Speaking on Sunday, Hossein Sheikholeslam said the meeting between Abbas and Maryam Rajavi, the ringleader of the terrorist Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO), came as no surprise to Iran.

Abbas met with Rajavi in the French capital of Paris late Saturday. According to reports, the two discussed regional issues, and Rajavi briefed Abbas on the MKO’s recent annual meeting.

“That a Palestinian faction that compromises with the Zionists (Israelis) and that has yielded to Israel under US pressure... today meets with terrorist elements is no surprise,” Sheikholeslam said, referring to the Palestinian Fatah party, which is headed by Abbas.

The Islamic Republic, the Iranian official said, was already in possession of evidence of Abbas’ secret collaborations with the United States.

He said the relations between Mahmoud Abbas and terrorist groups and Israelis have been covert and have only become publicized today.

Sheikholeslam referred to the MKO’s bleak history of assassinations and bombings against Iranian civilians and officials following the 1979 Islamic Revolution, and said the terrorist outfit receives support from the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia.

He also pointed to the move by the MKO to side with former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in the eight-year Iraqi war against Iran in the 1980s, and said the group maintains its enmity toward Iran with continued Western support.

In early July, the MKO held a meeting in Paris, where Saudi Arabia’s former spymaster, Turki al-Faisal, gave a 30-minute speech to the gathering and expressed support for the anti-Iran group.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry subsequently summoned the French Ambassador to Tehran François Sénémaud to hand him a strong note of protest over the meeting.

Iran and Saudi Arabia have no diplomatic relations.

^They deserve nothing than this or Hamas or some other Takfiri or nationalist leaders. The fools and ignorant of all. Because, majority of them think like that.

This is what I am talking about when it comes to the issue of Palestine and its relations with Shias!

What is the NEED or the POINT of Mahmoud Abbas is meeting the leader of a terrorist organization who is heavily supported by the Zionists? And who has no business in helping or resolving the Palestinian issues and who never recognized anything in Palestine?

This reminds me of Hamas leader going to Bahrain during Shias protests in Bahrain and met the king over there, saying that he supports fully the king of Bahrain and the government? From nowhere he goes there to have this meeting and issue these childish statements... while Bahraini government is nothing but a puppet of the Zionists who in its history never did a single thing to help the cause of Palestinians.

Why we support these Palestinians? They are simply using Iran and in return they engage with Anti-Iran elements like the MEK who were backed by Saddam and its is a terrorist organisation that killed many innocent Iranians.

Yes they do. But the same people also elected groups like Hamas into power. Palestinians themselves are to blame themselves for not having a country.

Yes unfortunately Zionist aka Israel may be funding and supporting groups Anti-Iran groups like MEK. But we for no reason turned these hardworking and intelligent people into our enemies. If you threaten anyone, like saying you will wipe a country of the map of course they will get nervous and start finding way to defend themselves in anyway possible.

Bahraini Government is a puppet of the Saudis not the Israelis. Couldn't be more wrong. Blaming Israel everytime for things that are going on in this world

Well, you didn't get my point. My point was that Hamas is fighting the Israeli/Zionist regime, then based on what calculation or benefit or any other reason, it goes and sits with Zionists' puppets and declare group's support? How does this fit in any way?

Going back to Israel.... It is a well known fact that the state has been brutal. It has a criminal record... it occupies the territories of Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria...For the past several decades  it supported all Sunni-Wahabi little puppets, Arab nationalist puppets or even Islamic groups who then oppressed local Shia populations...  there might be some intelligent people or hardworking, but that doesn't change the fact of Israel's criminal existence! But, yea, we both agree that for Shias, Iranian government or any Shia group there is absolutely no need to ally themselves with Wahabi-nationalist-Takfiri or any other 'jahel' Palestinian or non-Palestinian groups and fight against Israel. The oppression of Wahabi States, Sunni Islamist groups, or ignorant nationalist groups in the ME is way worse than Israel in some cases.

In principle Iran supports Palestine because Palestine is at right side though Palestinian authorities be that Hamas or Alfatah are anti Shia or anti Iran. Iran's support for Palestine is on principle but not for any political gain.
