[LAWS]How to hunt with non-muslim.

I would like to hunt, but if I do, I will bring a friend with me. Not any of my Muslim friends like to hunt, however other non-muslim friends do. How would we hunt then. I already read the rules about killing animals halal. Is it best to avoid doing it at all? I really want to get into hunting, not sure how this would work out though.

Also, would killing a deer and taking the meat and fur be permissible? How about just the meat.

Salam alaykom.

Hunting the halal meat animals is permissible in Islam.

But you should observe some conditions befor hunting.

1- saying "bismi Allah" befor shoting toward target.

2- after shoting toward animal, when you arrive to that animal, if it is alive yet, doing zebh according to islamic teaching.

3- you do hunting because of an acceptable reason, not just for fun.

However hunting deer and taking it's meat and fur is allowed in islam.

Alhamdulellah.

But how would the rules apply to him? He's kinda interested, I'm just unsure how the meat is going to be halal if he kills a deer.

You could tell your friend that you have to observe some rules when hunting a particular animal. I'm sure he'd be interested and ask questions.

Would an acceptable reason be, that I want to bring home Venison for my family and save money?

It wont be halal if he kills it.

Yes I thought so. That's unfortunate, though we can probably find a way around this. Not sure how though.

Certainly it's acceptable to bring it's Venison for you family or selling it to save money.

And also you can hunt Haram meat animals, like bear, just for selling bearskin, not for eating it's meat.

Hmm, interesting. However I don't think I would kill unless I need the meat. xD

Where did you get these rulings from? Is it from a website?
