interfere with it ? (e.g. answering duas)

The test is whether or not you ask for His (swt) interference. If you don't ask, He won't interfere, and if He doesn't interfere, well then you're pretty screwed.

Allah has 3 answers for duas. one is right away, two is not now, and 3 is i have something better. waiting is a test from Allah to see if you will remain strong and obedient in your imaan. Allah would never give a test to a Muslim that you cannot pass.

salamunalaykum;

As you mentioned, this world is a tool for human being to be tested in order to be trained, perfected and qualified for reward on behalf of Allah. This is the nature of the material world. Imam Ali (a.s) said, "This world is a house surrounded by calamities …" (Nahj al-Balagha, Sermon 225).

We have to notice that being tested by God in this world is one of the decisive and certain divine laws. There some verses in the Holy Qur'an in this regard: 1. Surah Al- 'Ankabut 2,3 : " Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried? But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars".

2. Surah Al- Baqara, 155 : "And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient.

So, all people will be the case of Allah's test. From the other side, according to God's order, we have been asked to call Him in order to be responded «أدعونی أستجب لکم». The best kind and state of worshiping Allah is Dua (supplication). The Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) said, "Du'a is extract of worshipping God".

Till now we can conclude that the test in the world and Du'a are relevant to each other so that by pure Du'a human being will be closer to Him as well as possible. It is noteworthy that both accepted or answered Du'a and not accepted one can be the case of test from God. Your Du'a may sometimes not being accepted because Allah wants to hear your voice and likes your cry. This attempt for asking God for many times causes you to be perfected and be closer to and be friend with God more and more.

Finally, I want to mention two points:

1.      Although there are different tests and calamities every one faces with in this world, we can change or put away some of those from ourselves by Du'a (supplication) such as fear, hunger, physical and financial damages and death but not all of them because they (tests and calamities) are of the decisive divine laws.

2.      The best work that we can do in this regard is to ask God and make this Du'a from Him to test us by things that we can tolerate and to be succeeded in these divine tests.

Asalam o Alaykom.

Dua isn't an interference. It's a test in itself. Making Dua is a sign of humility. Passing the test of humility is also important to gain His love for yourself.

Do you think if you doubt your Duas, they'll get accepted? You're supposed to put your trust in Allah. Putting your trust in Him is also a test which the disbelievers (Atheists) never pass.

If a Dua is supposed to be accepted, the test becomes the limit of your patience.

Duah breaks ego, brings about humbleness and reminds you that you are the one in need. You cannot be full of yourself and make duah it wouldn't make sense.

If Allah wasn't going to answer any duahs at all then theres no point doing it would there?

Dunya is a test and one of the test's of this world is to see if humans are humble enough to pray.

take a look at this ayah in surah ghafir, verse 60

And your Lord says: Call upon Me, I will answer you; surely those who are too proud for My service shall soon enter hell abased . verse 60, surah Ghafir.

It is very clear from the above verse that one of our obligations is to pray and ask Allah. And not doing so is a form of

Takabbur (feeling proud ) and one who does Takabbur (and turns away from praying) , according to the verse will abode in Hell.

Therefore to conclude Dunya is a test and one of its test is to see whether we are humble enough to pray ( and avoid takabbur)

Im keeping the post short relying upon the intelligence of my respected audience.
