More Then One crore Above 18 are unmarried

I was Reading A Report by Dr Ashar on Pakistan,s Young Man And Women I am Shoked After Reading the Research (That More Then One crore  Muslim sisters in Pakistan above 18 Year Old are Unmarried and Waiting  Some body For Nikkah And 70 percent in Them Are Getting Old) , After Reading That Report  A Question Raise in My Mind That  Who is responsible  and Why our Muslim Scholars and Mullah,s Never Highlight This issue Before And This Ratio increased Day by Day.....  Whats You Think About This ... ?

Well there is such a problem in Iran too nowadays scholars have highlighted it a lot but I think because of economic problems in Iran nowadays young people may dread to marry !

As you have highlighted this about Pakistan too, I think this problem in the middle east may be beyond just simple economical problems. 

I think the attitudes of families have changed. In the middle east families have very important roles and youths can not marry easily without assent and support of their families.   

Let alone that the rate of divorcing is also high. Again I think families have a great share in such a mess in the middle east or specifically Iran.

Values have changed and tolerance has reduced, people should marry whoever fits them, this is very crucial. As Quran says couples are cloths of each other.

i think more than the scholar it is the people fault. The girls side sometimes wait to long for Mr perfect who is doctor or engineer or has a blue passport. And the Groom sometimes want hefty dowry or fair skin girl etc. But now days marriage age has gone up universally because of economic issue. You have to have a 4 year degree, well paying job, house, car etc. Which is just plain BS for marriage, thats why it is getting harder and harder to get married.

I myself flown to get married in pakistan, because i knew people over here minds are on 7th sky!

One crore options but my husband won't leave me alone. These people put so much energy and effort in preventing divorces because future of Islam only depends upon low rate of divorce. But they don't care about how so many women are able to remain single their whole lives without committing any sins. That is not important for Islam or islamic values.
