Is the water in a western toilet bowl (after you flushed it) tahir?  I'm asking because I occasionally use it to clean my backside when other water is not available.  Fairly certain it should follow the rules of Kurr water,  but  I thought I'd see what others had to say.

Just so you know, toilet water in the US often is not treated. ie, you probably dont want to wash yourself with it. Unless its a public water supply coming from a treatment plant. Even treated toilet water really isnt the best thing to use for washing because flushing often doesnt remove contaminants from the toilet (hence the common courtesy flush). So, even after flushing, you could be splashing contaminated water back onto yourself. That contamination could originate from multiple people who have used the toilet before you, if not yourself.

So, im not familiar with Islamic definitions of water, but it sounds like youre describing something that ought to be considered najis.

All good points, but you could say the exact same thing about river water for example,  because so long as flowing water looks like water you're allowed to make wudu with it.
