Shia Islam obviously interest me. I desire to take Shahada and start living correctly, the way Allah (swt) has ordained for man to live, but the main obstacle I have is the fact that the only Masjid for 100 miles is Sunni.

What do I do, since Jummah is an obligation and bearing false witness is sinful?

Bismehe Ta3ala,

Assalam Alikum Brother GD

Brother, Jummah is not obligatory for the Shias until the return of Imam Mahdi.  You don't need a witness to proclaim following Shia Islam.  You just make your intention that you will now from this point forward you will follow the Jafari school of thought.

If you like and you would rather say it front of the ShiaChat community you can go ahead and do so by a post.  Tommorow is laylat al qadr al kubra, the most important night in the month of Ramadhan the Night of Destiny.  Try to do Shahadah asap so you can start with a3mail tommorow!

Brother also, listen to Hassanain Rajabali Ramadhan lectures 2016

God bless you brother.  I just want to say I have been following your posts from the first day you arrived on SC.  I know you are looking for a support system in the FL area.  What city are you in?  There are a few Shia centers in FL.  But no worries, even if there is none nearby, you can always tune in live to many centers across the US when they have nightly Ramadhan programs.

With all your heart pray tommorow night.  It is the most important night of the entire year!  The verse in the Quran says that this night is better than 1000 months.

“Indeed, we have revealed it [meaning the Qurʾān] on the Night of Power;
And what will explain to you what the Night of Power is?
The Night of Power is better than a thousand [other] nights;
The angels and the Spirit descend in it, by the permission of their Lord, with every command;
Peace it is! Until the break of dawn.

the 97th chapter of the Qurʾān, سورة القَدر (sūrat al-qadr), which is only five verses long, explains:

                                                          :bismillah:

(innā anzalnāhu fī laylati al-qadri)
(wa-mā adrāka mā laylatu al-qadri)
(laylatu al-qadri khayrun min alfi shahrin)
(tanazzalu al-malāʾikatu wa-al-rūḥu fīhā bi-idhni rabbihim min kulli amrin)
(salāmun hiya ḥattá maṭlaʿi al-fajri)

if you are certain about Shia and have confidence so never waste the time and convert cause no one knows about future and everything can happen to us. mosques and Jummah are not matters in this case and you can convert alone. you also con learn more about Shia in this site so ask every question you may have and we will try to answer by god's willing.

I applaud and support your choice 100%, but make no mistake -- always question. Do not be scared of doubts and always look into every sort of misconception of Islam and study and reflect and find solutions to problems. This religion is not compulsive-- rather it seeks whoever seeks it. by God's will we will try to answer every question you bring to us, and keep your heart unbiased and try to remove the natural dogmatic presence that comes with belief. Stay open to opinion, question anything Inshallah and you will find bliss in this religion, this life, and the next.

Jummah is not an obligation. Only so if you are within a certain distance.

According to AHlulbayt , Jum'ah is not wajib without rightful Imam.

The Imam of Salat is the ambassador between those praying behind him and Allah, he should be someone righteous.

You can pray Zuhr prayer in Friday.... if you can , relocate to town with shia community XD

But according to Holy Quran, "O you who believe! when the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah… Qur’an 62:9".

Friday prayer is one of the social worships that in mentioned in the Quran and people are ordered to do it.

This worship is obligatory according to Shia and Sunni scholars which should be done in the presence of infallible Imam.

But there is a dispute in the absence of infallible Imam and most shia scholars believe that it is Wajib Takhyiri, which means that we have an option to offer Jumuah prayers, if its necessary conditions are fulfilled, or to offer Zuhr prayers.

Any reference about Wajib Takhyiri? From where it is mentioned?

If you want to go to the jumah then go. You don't have to announce what school of thought you follow. If they question you as to why you have your hands down just say Malikis can do that. If they tell you that schools of thought are bida then just be noncommittal  in your response. If that masjid turns out to be a salafy stronghold you probably won't want to go there more than a few times.
