A sincere request for clarification from a Sunni to you Shia: Why do you support Bashar's regime? I truly have great respect for my Shia brothers, but I don't understand why you persist in supporting the regime. It is a secular regime, and sometimes even secularist (deliberately degrading religion and the symbols we share as Muslims), a regime that deifies a modern pharaoh, treating him as if he were a god. In Syria, immediately after the name of Allah, the name of Bashar must follow; you cannot mention only Allah's name alone, as it should be, since God has no equal. I don't understand why you show no mercy for your brothers in Syria, as we showed for you when Saddam's Sunni regime mistreated you. My Sunni country intervened in 2004 against the Sunnis in Iraq because it was right for a Shia-majority country to be ruled by Shia. The same should apply to Syria, in my opinion. Yet the Palestinian issue shows your willingness to support us Sunnis, so why don’t you do the same in Syria?

I know others would waste time writing  you long replies, but let me flip it and ask you instead, why do you support Salafist groups in Syria?

1.) These are 2009 talking points...you should have evolved beyond this type of dialogue by now

2.) Where is this fathom modern-day Saladin or Suleiman the Magnificent that Shi'i Islamists are going out of their way to neglect or ignore or circumnavigate around? Please point him out to me...nay, no such person or organization exists in actuality...to the left, we have NATO-backed Salafi jihadists seeking to exterminate or enslave religious and ethic minorities...the proponents of 50 flavors of Salafi jihad want to maintain the hemogenic status quo - not only regionally but abroad (e.g. China, Russia etc.) as well...they're guns for hire and they're worse than Blackwater...whenever and wherever NATO needs them...POOF! they magically appear...and to the right, we have an Arab nationalist / secularist whose clan has (historically) maintained an extremely pronounced anti-imperialist policy for decades...now I redirect the question to you...who would you pick?...answer honestly please

3.) You answered your own inquiry regarding the Gazan issue and so-called sectarian alliances...you should know better...Shi'i Islamists in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen etc. are not sectarian...Shi'i creed is an inclusive creed...in contrast, Wahhabism is a devicive dogma founded by a narrow-minded, rigid and intolerant firebrand...the British realized this individual with his accompanied ideology could be a useful tool in helping to bolster their aims and objectives in the region...an Islamic revivalist movement that defines other Muslims as apostates and classifies colonialists as Ahl al-Kitāb??...geez, what a godsent ideology! We now have a spokesperson who speaks on behalf of Mecca and Medina and will help us undermine the Ottoman Sultanate and create an internal strife within the house of Islam that will last for centuries...HOT DAWG!!!

Guest Adam, Salam. Thanks for the response.

I agree with you that many in the opposition, especially before the protests got hijacked had some form of valid reasoning behind their beleifs. Bashar for example has harsh prison conditions, which i hate myself, however as time progressed, they started being hijacked and got more and more extreem. Even initially, the "moderate rebels" were litterally mixed with al quaeda as far as 2011 when it started and overtime isis came and made things 10x worse and they mixed or fought these groups. The problem is years before this dirty war, America and Israel planned this.

Thing is, Bashar was an improvement over his cold hearted father hafez, he was more willing to listen to his opposition.

As for Saudi Arabia, mbs is up to no good, this guy needs a spine like king Faisal, if you said this about king Faisal I would have agreed with you, but not mbs. I just hope mbs gets a semblance of common sense and distances himself from America, or else saudi arabia will be milked to death.
