Some of it is simply not true. Iranians did not straight away become Shia like the way this guy tells it, we were mostly Sunni initially for many centuries until Safavids came and forced us to become Shia by the sword or killed us. He should be at least upfront about it. I have seen some of his videos floating around and simply disagree with a lot of his bogus political and historical analysis

I hope you guys will give me your perspective on this series I found it very helpful and analytical

Sorry its not so simple. Even if you go back to the works of earliest Islamic historians you have to study several of them and in several languages (due to translation errors and distortions by translators or even deliberate omissions in some editions) and still end up with dots to connect . Therefore pardon me but I'm not going to watch some random person's video series covering all that and then attempt to share my thoughts. Just being honest.

According to interpretation of Quran attributed to Ahlulbayt, this leadership including that of Ali, by Sunnis, is that of the Taghut. I agree with the interpretation of Ahlulbayt. It's how I understand Quran.

To make any person "successor" of a divinely appointed leader (Mohammad), even Ali, if he was not chosen by God is highly problematic, and was how Satan misguided all of humanity in past.  It's as Imam Sadiq says the Quran teaches it's not for us to choose a leader and declare him righteous, but rather it's upon God and upon us to recognize and submit.

There is more to be said. Even a collective elite of society cannot be granted this position of leadership of representing God in the sense they must be trusted and obeyed and followed.

And to think Quran is silent over the issue of government and leadership of the community is a joke. To think the Quran which is a guidance didn't teach this issue and has a whole philosophy around it, is a joke.

To think the Prophet didn't prepare the people and that it never occurred to them what should happen after his death is a joke. That they never thought of the issue of leadership until the death of the Nabi is a joke. Certainly people asked. The fact there is only one answer (ie. his Ahlulbayt succeed him starting with Ali in hadiths), shows the truth.

May God curse everyone who disbelieves in Wilayah of Ahlulbayt after being reminded of it but pretending their hearts are heedless of the clear words of God and his Messenger, rather, God has cursed them by their disbelief.

May they never enter heaven. On the day their evil is exposed, the illegitimate sons and daughters of Iblees they are, then they will see those friends of God (the Shia of Ahlulbayt) who they deemed the lowest of humanity will not be found among the inmate of the fire. They will see how enchanted they were by uncleanness and how Satan spoke through them to make unclear what God has made clear in his book of guidance and clear proofs of guidance.

I watched the first one. It's as if God and Rasool were clueless and they enlightened a people who were to dumb to ask about what to do after his death regarding leadership and government. There people were 1. Too dumb to ask. 2. God and his Messenger didn't care to teach them regardless.

It's beyond stupid. It's an excuse for disbelief. There is answer in Quran and Sunnah. And it is clear.

The Quran is written in a way that it prepares humanity for success and failure. And we are in a failure stage. And failure with the failure stage. But Quran has a guidance regarding that.

It prepared warnings and good news and guidance for people despite the failing of previous generations.

How to act and what to do in all these stages and possibilities.

It could of went right, but it didn't.

May God hasten the appearance and victory of Imam Mahdi.
