Urgent help.

Salam everyone.

I am in a very depressing state. Yesterday I had a fight with one of my friends. In anger I cursed him. Now I feel sorry. Is there any dua or namaz to undo the effect. The thing is that if by coincidence something happens to him, I will not be able to forgive myself.

Please help.

What? Lol, there is no need to contact your marja for this.

Just go to your friend with whom you exchanged angry words, tell him you are sorry and ask him to forgive you.

That's it.

As brother starlight indicated,  all you need to do is visit your friend and plead for his forgiveness.  

I heard of something called 'radd e mazalim'  it's a kind of sadqa that you take out.  It is to undo the effects of our known and unknown/forgotten wrongdoings. Insha'Allah a more knowledgeable brother /sister can elaborate on this point .

I have already said sorry to my friend and our friendship is now the way it was. The thing is that having cursed him makes me feel afraid somewhere down in my heart that if khuda na khasta something happens to him by coincidence I wont be able to forgive myself. The thought that it all happened because of my curse wont let me live.

I just want to make sure that my curse is not answered and I want to ask forgiveness from Allah for everything.

Please help.

Allah is not a jinni in a bottle, he does things according to his own wisdom, and most of what we do which lands up in mess is of our own ignorance or wrong doing .

Dont worry about that,just be worried and careful that you don't repeat the same mistake by speaking before you think.

Best form of asteghfar is not to repeat the same mistake.
