i live in canadatoday everybody i found out, that if there is a group meeting and your dont make it, you should tell someone about it beforehand instead of telling someone sorry later for missing it. or else it is wrong, am i the only one who didnt know this?you have no idea i was beating myself over this.i honestly thought it was alright to apologize to a group member later for missing ,i never knew a group meeting was like the most important thing on the planet, i could understand someone being angry on missing a couple of meetings, but this??!! i have seen people being lenient on things in groups, and strict in others, to the extent i am scared i dont understand anything any more .its driven me crazy.

Because everybody is counting on each other (the group) to show up,  so if someone doesn't show up without calling, you mess up their whole plans and it might even waste their time, that's why they might be a little upset. If they know one or two are not coming, they can consult with each other and decide what to do next or if they should continue with it nor postponed it....hope that made sense.

Saheeh International: Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; ....
