Why did the Syrian army.....

why did the syrian army fire at peaceful protestors back in 2011? say what you want about the FSA, and takfiri groups like al nusra and isis, but in my opinion this is all Assad's fault, as he fired the first shots....had he not allowed for his own soldiers to fire at people who merely want change and are not hurting anyone, syria would not be in the mess it's in. I don't know if assad used chemical weapons (he probably did) but he did fire the first shots, so badly that some soldiers even defected.....what kind of monster would fire at his own people for protesting? now im not defending al nusra or isis or even saudi arabia and turkey....i agree that the saudi government and turkish government is evil, etc. but that doesnt justify firing live rounds at peaceful protestors.... also, assad has been using barrel bombs, which are very inaccurate and kill civilians.i think assad needs to step down....

One thing for sure Assad didnt even use Chemical weapons, he knew if he ever did the US and the West would you it as a pretense to invade Syria and take down his regime like they did in Iraq.

It was rather a false flag operation by the Rebels, even a UN spokesperson on the BBC doubted Assad even used Chemical weapons against insistence of the US that Assad did it. I actually first believed he too had used chemical weapons, but seeing the later evidence its likely the Rebels used it.

No doubt Assad is not perfect, he really did mishandle those protests back in 2011, now its escalated in all out war and choas.

While I'm not saying you're wrong.  Where is your proof that only the rebels used chemical weapons and Assad didn't as well, if you are "for sure?"

Syrian army did not fire the first shots. There were hit squats placed among the protests and they fired at the security forces using the protestors as cover. This was done to provoke a response and be used as propaganda. The western proxy invasion of Syria was well planned in advanced, and the protests were uses as the triggering point to activate the already place jihadis. The same methodology was used in Venezuela and Iran (2009 color revolution).

Proof of anything you said?

I have been following these events from the beginning, and there were videos of unarmed security forces running for cover while being attacked by snipers. Research article from global research: http://www.globalresearch.ca/syria-who-is-behind-the-protest-movement-fabricating-a-pretext-for-a-us-nato-humanitarian-intervention/24591.

"In a bitter irony, the deaths of policemen were higher than those of “demonstrators”.

In Daraa, roof top snipers were targeting both police and demonstrators."

In early 2013 both UN and Russian independent investigations concluded evidence highly suggested it was in fact the rebels that carried out the chemical weapons attack.

I didn't see any videos in that link, or any evidence.  Just an article that tried to tie together a bunch of random news clippings into a theory they're pushing.

So no actual proof?  Just this lady an reports of investigative teams concluding something without producing proof of their conclusions.  Why believe their conclusions without proof over someone else's conclusion without proof?

For what it's worth, I think the rebels used chemical weapons to pull the US and other others in to attack Assad.  But I can't say for sure without any evidence or proof to back me up.  I also don't know if a random faction of Assad's Army did it in desperation as they were being overrun, or did it intentionally as an attempt to destroy it from the inside before defecting to the other side.

The West and the Arab world wanted to topple Asad from the start so you will never see evidence that will benefit Assad.

Second of all,

Wallahi! When Hillary said that the US would intervene IF Assad would use Chemical Weapons I knew that Chemical Weapons would be used as an excuse to intervene by the rebels and that Assad would be blamed and guess what happened?

No one said Bashar al Assads regime is a just one, and no one said he had a good regime, and that it wasn't full of corruption.

But how do we know that it wasn't the army men that wanted to defect, are the ones who shot at them, in order to spark fury in between people?

Or maybe even if it was an order from within the political system, again no one said al Baath party is a just party.

But as I said before, it was never about Bashar al Assad, or his government, or Baath party. It is about the Syrian land, and what it holds connection between countries.

Salam aleykum

I think this "shooting people"is a method to blame politicans as dictators. Example in Venezuela this happen also well basically there was a sniper who tried and Hugo Chávez knew it was a imperialistic tactic. Thats how western politicans destroy countries, but i dont want say that all eastern countries are better.

The dajjals of today cannot stand assads relationship with Hezbollah and Iran , so hence they started all this chaos to destabilize Syria and of course their are many more reasons ,  but this one is just a starting point for the laymen so that they can begin to unravel the deeper meanings and reasons

Who said he fired first shots? The "peaceful protesters" were all orchestrated by western powers through saudi arabia via north lebanon. The banners and videos are easily identifiable that they were given to the syrian people and told what to do. Then all you have to do is put a few snipers to kill a few of them and a civil war starts. All the media that says he kills his own people with barrels bombs are usually the zionist ones. How do you really know what exactly is happening in syria? All I can say is get whatever CNN, FOX, BBC, SKYNEWS, ARABIA, JAZEERA says and believe the exact opposite

This is all the result of the so called ' Arab spring 2011 ' , when I went to Iran in 2013 we had an interesting and insightful lecture in the hawza about the arab spring of 2011 , this is probably the biggest false flag operation since 9/11 and operation Iraqi freedom
