Yesterday my schedule was interrupted by the fact that schools were closed, but today I managed to complete all of yesterday's tasks and all of today's. I thought about starting on tomorrow's too, but I have some new books that I flipped through instead. I got so many, I can't decide which to read first.

Mine:

Tick at least two items off the spring cleaning list.

Bake a cake, make a study schedule for daughter.

My car is in for repair, so tomorrow I will stay home with my youngest children and hopefully get a bit of cleaning and organizing done.

My car was supposed to be finished today, but they forgot to start the work, so today and tomorrow I'll also be home with my youngest children working on stuff around my house, baking bread, and perhaps getting a bit of reading in.

No time for reading books after my move. My goal today is to unpack all my books and put them in the bookcase.  :)

The way the World is, who the Heell wants it?

Besides, can you imagine  the cost of administration and the 16-18 hour work days?

My goal for today - Throw a birthday party for my five year old

break up of goal:

1. Bake a cake (reminder to self, the cake might fall apart as you assemble it but you shouldn't, you can always go and buy one from the bakery and pretend that was the original plan)

2. Get some kid approved eatables together

3.Sneak in the spare bedroom and wrap presents

4.Try not to yell at kids when they bang at the door when you are doing 3.

5. Decide outfit for dear daughter

6. Blow up two dozen balloons, put up a birthday banner, hang balloons and pom poms

7.Ignore severe backache from disc prolapse gone worse after yesterday's travel while doing 6.

8.Try not to cry during and after the party, they grow up too quickly.

[Edit] : I am sure sis @hameedeh will come along soon and tell me ,' stay strong, you can do it'.

That is my cue to jump on the floor --hard.

So the cake falls.

That is a 5-year-old thing to do.

Right?

Wow @starlight we had a party for my 1 year old yesterday, and it was a lot less work than yours! You reminded me why we try to stick to small family parties. I had to wrap gifts at the last minute, but my oldest son baked the cake from a mix, and we didn't decorate.
