Just because it is so in Yemen, doesn't make it so somewhere else. This logic is flawed...........

How can they lose when they're richer than Yemen? Walahi

Shocked you can ask this question. Whoever wins, wealth will only play a small part in it. Saudis are using mercenaries and bribing countries to send their troops.

When a foreign aggressor is forced to use mercenaries they have already lost.  The war will continue. It might go quiet for a generation but it will spring up again

Problem with your gross over simplification of the conflict  is that 70% of the population still live under Bashar Al-Assad rule. 65% of his army are Sunni Arabs. 10% of the population is Kurdish and have their own autonomous area

Hardly the popular Sunni uprising its publicised to be

It used to be a semi legit uprising at first. Why semi? It's been leaked by wikileaks that the CIA plays by the feelings of the people so they fear the Shi'ites. Either way though the government has alot of blood in their hands but I'd rather have them for the sake of frustrating the enemies.
