The Tough quiz thread

I am probably being harsh with this one-

A game from the 8 bit era.

Involved driving a radar-equipped tank and firing rockets.

You can acquire 'enemy' soldiers and tanks, using magnetic/hypnotic rays and use them as your own.

Hint (Sorry, I cant help being soft. But this may be the last time.)-

Very few know about it. I think it was created ahead of its time. But the stages are too repetitive. I checked play-through videos. None of them cleared the last stage. I am not sure if there is anything like a last stage. The only weakness of the game.

Once upon a time, I was looking for it on the net. Not knowing its name, but only how it looked like. I happened to have lesser information than what I gave as hints and it took me more than a month to find it. Even with the information that I have given, it was supposed to be a difficult job. So I am not soft with the tough quiz, after all.

So. Bravo.

On to the next-

  1. A food product.
  2. Belongs to a BDSed organisation.
  3. Hint rhymes with Snatcher. (Snatcher is not the hint). The nickname.

Desis should have an advantage for this one.

Sorry for the late reply. We was all sleeping in this part of the earth.

The hint is the name of a (in)famous conservative Britisher.

Once you figure out the hint, you just have to go for the nickname (of the hint). (This is what I meant by the last point. I guess it was not mentioned properly.)

Got it (most likely)

Infamous Tory whose name rhymes with Snatcher = Thatcher.

Margaret Thatcher's nick = Iron Lady. But Iron is not a food product.

From Margaret it's maggie.

The answer is Maggie Noodles.

Anyone interested in posting Qs? I need some time for a new one.

Okay then.

1. You can eat the name

2. Tall and gaunt

3. It's a character

Hint: spinach.

Make associations. It should be easy.
