Saying Hijab is oppression, is tantamount to saying that a women is only powerful if she is sexy in public

Interview was stupid. Two reasons: 1) she was being too touchy feely. This could have been a great opportunity to explain to the Daily Show viewing public the hand shake \ physical contact issue. This is an issue which has given a lot of us problems. Why not help to alleviate our problems instead of copping out? 2) she says people who are prejudiced against Muslims are more likely to be prejudiced against gays and lesbians. Well guess what sister, people who believe in Islam are also inclined to be prejudiced against sodomy. 

Ultimately, we won't get anywhere trying to lick the boots of people who are cheerleaders for the war in Syria and rationalize war strategies being used against Iran. It makes no sense.
