AoA, Today i am going to share a very informative video with you about the most popular scientist Albert Einstein. As you may know that Einstein has submitted many theories. Science only accept theory when it is proved by some practical. Einstein most popular theory is Theory of Relativity. He was not able to find a practical example for this theory after researching alot when he came to know about "Islam". He became Shia and started believing Hazrat Ali (a.s)

This story isn't only spread in urdu, an English language scholar posted it on Facebook yesterday, I believe that it is the grand son of sayed Burujurdi that is the source of this, apparently the letters are locked away in a box.

I think this story became famous after someone on the assembly of experts or another body brought it up on TV. I think that is or was on sayed Burujurdi's Web site.

Quite a few Israeli news agencies have reported the story.

First when you said israeli news agencies reported the story, it means confirmed it. Not "reported that a sheikh talked about it.

Second, so what if you got me that an Iranian cleric talked about it, it won't make this very "believable" to me.

In the overall scheme of things does this really matter? No doubt it came as hearsay to the Ayatollah and he had no reason to doubt his source, who was probably trying to impress his listeners. In terms of that specific mistake, there's no real harm done, AFAICT.

Colin Powell sat at the UN Security Council spouted garbage such as this about Saddam's weapons of mass destruction, and they believed him and the msm spun the story to get public acquiescence.

For me that was the Wow of the decade:

Yes, it matters, because people look up to these 'scholars' as beacons of knowledge and wisdom, and then whenever you hear them talking about anything where they can't pull the argument from authority, they so often come out with utter nonsense. I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks there is even the remotest possibility that this could be true has no education or intellect.

So does it matter that people spend decades in hawza without being able to develop anything even resembling critical faculties, and then are supposed to be taken as authorities in the most important aspect of human life. Yes, I'd say so.
