Guess it's not my problem if some guy like Trump ends up becoming President, becoz I am not from that country. You Amerikans have to deal with this.

I mean Trump may not seem all that nice and great, but at least his open and honest about his views and plans. I see Republicans like Ted Cruz and Ben Carson more worrying than Trump, these two all but seem to be quiet about their true intentions and surely have some hidden agendas behind their backs. I prefer someone honest and vocal unlike someone secretive and quiet.

Bernie Sanders is someone who can really shake up the system and make a stand against the American establishment and elite. There hasn't been a candidate like him in previous election ever before. He has a 40 year long proven track record of social reforms, and of being a defender of the working class and the marginalised of society. His a proven candidate and will surely enact the reforms and change his promising, and not backtrack.

who is talking about Hamas and Hezbollah, it is another matter. But does Hezbollah or anybody who is against Hamas but supports the Palestinian cause, approve Israeli occupation and its bombings of civillians.

Bernie Sanders is not a Zionist? Wake up brother. So you think he will stop all them billions for Israel?  An outsider cannot become the president of this nation. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2183858/All-presidents-bar-directly-descended-medieval-English-king.html

Show me a narration of the Ahlul bayt pbut where they say that voting and elections are allowed for their Shias to participate in. Is there a narration from the Imams pbut that one can vote and choose the Leader of the Muslims? Let alone a leader of a foreign/hostile entity/nation.

O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people. 5:51

Really? One thing I know is that he hardly ever mentions his religion or background in his speeches or debates. He makes himself out just as American as all the other candidates or anyone else for that matter. On top of that his quite secular minded and open, and married to a Christian even though he still identified himself as a Jew.

He has fought heavily for social equality for my minorities like Blacks in the past and is till this day for a variety of other social causes. He is no where a Zionist, doubt the Israel lobby would even prefer him as President and even probably placed him lowest on the pecking order for them.

Calling him a Zionist just based on his religion is quite demeaning and idiotic. A person shouldn't be judged on their religion and background but their actions. He has so far and for so long presented himself well. He has never put his religion in front of him or others and it has never stopped him as a social activist and politician.

Being a Zionist and supporting the Zionist state are two different positions. Every American president will support the Zionist state for political reasons, regardless of their personal opinion about it. Don't forget that in his earlier days Obama was a friend and a fan of Edward Said, who was probably the most well-known Palestinian freedom activist in the United States and anti-Israel to boot. Even so Obama did nothing, or could do nothing, to change the American policy on Israel. It is not far fetched to say that he might have met JFK's fate if he had really tried.

We can't expect an American president to take a tough line on Israel unless something totally unexpected and unprecedented happens.

There's an assumption that they are all different people...

Salam Marbles,

Yeah, totally understand that sentiment!

They are actually all different, though Ted Cruz is a tamer version of Donald Trump.

Personally, I don't agree with any of them and I was planning on not voting for either the Democrat or Republican nominee because of that.

However, I have told my Republican friends that if Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination, I will vote for whoever wins the Democrat nomination. My conscious will not let me do otherwise.

Any of the other candidates are better than Trump, in my opinion.I would have no choice but to vote in order to try to help my country not get a Narcist Fascist in power. I am shocked and saddened that he has gotten so popular. While I knew racism sadly wasn't dead in the USA, I didn't know racism was so alive and thriving. :(

Imagine if he had said this about England, or Germany (from where his grandfather hails) or Scotland?

Also, while I disagree with Islam, I 100% support the right of people to believe what they believe is true Many Muslims believe Islam is true same I believe Christianity is true!  I do not want my Muslim friends in the USA to be banned or persecuted in any way, same as I don't want Christians to be banned or persecuted!

This is just the beginning of discrimination based on religion. :(

Trump does not obey the Golden Rule at all, and I personally would rather a socialist (Bernie Sanders) who cares for people who are different than him or Hilary Clinton to be president than Trump!

Peace and God bless you

I must go through the dull long visa process i guess. Might not even get it. Even with the waver program i felt incomfortable with all the questioning, i can only imagine what the normal visa route will be like.

Salam Repenter,

For an American couple (one born in  Ecuador, one born in the USA) to visit Iran, would the process be long and with many questions? If God wills, my hubby and I would love to visit Iran someday! :)

Peace and God bless you

Salam Mr. Anderson,

Do you believe Qur'an 5:51 is for Muslims nowadays, or just for some Muslims a long time ago? Thanks.

Peace and God bless you

Salam Zendigi,

Bernie Sanders is married to a Christian? I didn't know that.

What touched my heart about Bernie Sanders is this video, which made me weep tears of joy when he showed respect and love to the young Muslim lady. :)

While I'm not a Muslim and i like to discuss differences in religion with Muslims, I do 100% support the right of Muslims to freely immigrate to the USA and to enjoy the same freedoms that Christians have! :)

This is what the USA needs, though I don't believe the USA needs socialism. However, definitely the USA needs love and caring, so if a socialist can help bring the USA to be more loving and caring, so be it!

Also, a person can be a Zionist and still love Palestinians, like a person can be a patriotic American, and still love Mexicans and Canadians, as well as both legal and undocumented immigrants from any country! Zionists are people who can choose to love same as Anti-Zionists are people who can choose to love too.

Also, a person can be a Christian and love Muslims, or visa versa. :) Actually, a Christian who doesn't love Muslims or any other person is disobedient to Jesus' commands to love.

Peace and God bless you

I think the US needs a ton of "socialism"...or whatever you want to call it.  I think it's fantastic, We give loads of "socialism " to banks and corporations. Let's give it to the people for a change.

I'd rather my tax dollars go to give everyone healthcare, education, unemployment benefits, a dignified retirement, creation of new jobs, and taking care of our infrastructure and environment...rather than fleets of new bombers and ranks of tanks or to bail out the failed big businesses and the already-rich.

We need to get our priorities straight. Bernie has them straight.

We need to clean House ( and Senate) too, though.

No, you get a 30 day visa on arrival. If one wants to stay longer then you need to apply.

Bernie sanders.

He is by far the lesser of all the evils that may take charge of the presidency.

I hope , and will be cautious but quite happy if he does, the same way at the muslims rejoiced when the romans beat the persians.

But this will be conditional on him being what he promised.

You should refrain from making such comments, when you don't or can't see the matter which is brought here.  When a person doesn't understand what is presented to him it is better to remain quite if no proof can be brought forward to challenge it, rather than use words as "idiotic", etc.  It is also better than bringing hundred other matters into the main one. And the main matter is that participating or having anything to do with (promoting, etc) elections in Islam is haram. Because Supremacy is for Allah swt alone, not for the people. I don't know if you are a Shia, but if you are you need to reconsider your thinking.

And how can a Shia Muslim that has all of his mind present, participate or promote elections in a system that challenges the system of Allah swt, the only one which a Muslim should obey ? This is your own thinking. If you or any other Shia of Ali has got a proof from the Holy Quran or the narrations that participating or promoting elections is lawful, please show it.

"he is quite secular minded and open". In above posts it was shown that the individual Bernie Sanders very eagerly defends the right to abortions, it is one of his fundamental principles and Allah swt tells us in the Holy Quran that such people are transgressors. America the Great Dajjal approved same sex marriages an eternal shame in the face of humankind. Does Bernie Sanders say that when he becomes a president he will overrule this or does he support it and defends it.  You want to participate and promote the elections and the system of America the Great Dajjal which is mocking the divine laws of Allah swt?  If you are a Muslim and defend such a thing and a person, then you need to reconsider what religion you follow.

Also his religion wasn't mentioned, nor was there any mention that he is a Zionist because he is Jewish. America itself is a Zionist entity, and a so called President of it cannot change that, rather a person that is put forward for such position is nothing but a puppet that will not challenge anything and that is in consent with America's principles and rather the things that he says in his campaign is a script and he is just filling the role which his masters from above him want him to. It doesn't matter if he has whatever religion, like all the American president puppets before which did and do things against religion and most importantly against the religion of Allah swt. And this Judeo-Christian entity called America was built on materialism, and world domination, hegemony, and imposing its secular anti religious thinking on the world, mocking the divine laws, mocking the Prophets and Messengers pbut.

If you choose man made laws over the divine laws of Allah swt you will have to answer in front of the One who said : And I placed in the Earth for you a Successor (Ruler), the Lord of the Worlds. Ya Allah.

I am getting this sinking feeling that there is collusion between Hillary and Trump behind the scenes.

(Even though Sanders is doing good in the poles, he has very little chance of winning )

The 'establishment' may be trying to clear the field for a Hillary win.

If the general election is Hillary (an establishment, career politician) vs

Trump (the loudest clown in the clown car) people don't like Hillary and don't think she will do anything good for the country and is firmly in the back pocket of Zionists / Mega Corporations but with a choice between her and Trump, people will flee to safety(the herd mentality) and vote for Hillary, another anti-vote.

If it comes down to a choice between Trump and Hilary, we know the whole system has completely failed. It's either time for a revolution, or every voting age American should just shoot themselves or move to Mexico (if the votes even matter). (Sorry for the sudden influx of refugees, Mexico.)

In my lifetime (just over 40 years) I've not seen one good president of the United States. All governments fail eventually. I think the one here was good, has good a solid basis, but only has an effective life of about 200 years.

I hope to be proven wrong.

In terms of what most people think it should be for, the system failed a long time ago. In terms of what it is actually for, then it is a roaring success. 'Democracy' in the West is essentially a bad joke, where people are under the illusion of having freedom of choice, when in fact they have none. Nobody who was any genuine threat to the current system would be allowed anywhere near a national election. And even if they made it that far, they would be destroyed in the media. Should that not work, they would be killed.

But hey, as long as people are fed and entertained, they won't really care. Certainly not enough to risk what they've got.
