1948 A Palestinian Genocide?

Okay so, I live in the United States and I recently got hugely interested into politics. There's a lot of things going on in the middle east right now and none so more prominent I think than the long standing conflict between Israel and Palestine... I don't know much information on the Nakba though I know a little bit about the 1948 war between israel and palestine. I am told of the forced removal of the Palestinians from their homes but I am also told of allegations by the Palestinians that it was much more than that. That the Israeli's committed a genocide against the Palestinians. Despite my efforts I have been unable to find solid evidence for or against this, though there is tantalizing evidence to suggest it did indeed happen I want something solid.

 

So I came to you guys on here, who are probably better informed than me on this subject. It would be very helpful if you could provide links to videos, newspaper articles, images, etc that either support or discount these allegations. I would greatly appreciated it if you helped me in this endeavor.

Oh this has a lot of information on it, this will be most useful! Do you know if any of the videos in the Nakba Oral history are in english though? or have english subtitles?
