Salam,

I am a first year law student in Brighton, UK from Toronto, Canada.  Coming from a city and family where azadari is a big part of my life.  If anyone knows of any helpful information with regards to shias in Brighton, UK, please let me know.  I have looked everywhere for a shia mosque or household that holds majlis but haven't come across anything.  As Muharram is fast approaching,  I really need to figure this out ASAP because commuting to London for majalis everyday is not convenient or cheap.

Please reply if you know anyone that can be of help or you know a shia family in this town.

Jazakallah!

I happened to look into this a few weeks ago when HayderM mentioned the city, but then didn't get around to posting it.

But anyway, in honour of the city named after me (just kidding  :D it is a nice name though ;) ), I found these:

And this seems to be somewhat close to Brighton:

Hopefully that will help you Brighton folk find other Shias  :)

Wow! Thank you for doing this research, I am a little relieved now knowing I will have a place to go during Muharram!

Crawley is a bit far for me, the Brighton Faith Society will work just fine! Thank you once again for passing this along!

Jazakallah!

Salam brothers, I'm a student at the university of sussex. I tried researching regarding imam bargah's in brighton last year when I moved here but didn't get any luck. So I had to commute to London for Muharram majalis. I read the thread and everything but I'm still a little confused. Can any of you please offer any guidance? With Muharram a couple of days ahead I really don't want to miss out on the azadari this year. Any help would be really appreciated.

There are no Imambargahs in Brighton. Your closest Imambargah is in Crawley.
