Yemani And Sufyani Before Imam Al Mehdi(Aj)

It has been said that one of the signs before Imam Medhi(Aj) is the Yemani rising in Yemen to defeat the Sufyani in Syria.

There are a few theories I have heard of:

1. Scholars suggest that the only authentic hadiths in regards to the precursors before Imam al Mehdi(Aj) is the callings from the skies. (I have heard that one of these scholars was Sayed Khoi).

2. There is too much evidence to deny it. Yemen that is poor and has nothing compared to Saudi Arabia is winning against them to the extent that they have destroyed some of their bases. Turkey is also gathering terrorists in Syria to try destabilise it(apparently there is a Hadith that shows Turkey involved with destabilising Syria) and others.

3. ^ From this there are 2 theories - 1. The Yemenis are doing this themselves and the Tyrannical Terrorists. 2. The Yemenis are taking orders from the Yemani that has not yet declared himself but he is here, the Sufyani is giving orders and is behind the terrorists and the objective to destabilise Syria in order for himself to rein.

4. Leave it to Allah Swt if it happens it happens if it doesn't it doesn't.

5. As Muslims we shouldn't deny evidence and should be aware if something is going to happen or not.

6. When the Yemeni comes he is going to call all the Shia to Yemen.

Salam,

Yemeni and Khurasani will be two seperate armies. Both will be SHIA. According to hadiths, there is going to be a conflict in Syria (which we are witnessing at the moment) where two armies fight. This civil war will come to an end through an earthquake which will kill over a hundred thousand people. After this earthquake, yellow flags from the west will come to Syria (perhaps Hezbollah?). The reason why I say hezbollah is because Lebanon is located west to syria and also their flags yellow, could be someone else but seems like hezbollah. This earthquake will perhaps cripple the Assad regime and Hezbollah will back them up properly this time. Then the land of harasta (town in Syria) will sink AND THEN THE SUFYANI RISES.

According to hadiths, there's various interpretations one can make with regards to the armies in Syria that will be present at the time of the rising of Sufyani, Hadith of imam sadiq (as) states that when Sufyani (LA) rises there will be three banners in Syria, first one being the hasanid standard (Hezbollah?) second one being the Umayyad standard (syrian Opoosition?), and third one being qaisiya (Qaisiya tribe is from Iraq perhaps reference to isis as isis roots are from iraq?) standard.

Another hadith says there will be three armies when the Sufyani rises. First one being the red banner, second one being the piebald army (piebald is black and white like a piebald horse, perhaps this is a reference to isis as their flag is black and white?) and third one being the Sufyani.

So when Sufyani defeats all of these armies, he will send 100,000 men to kufa and will plunder and kill a lot of people there. Khurasani (Iran?) will mobilise and reach Kufa and defeat the Sufyani army temporarily. More is actually written about Sufyani and Yemeni than khurasani from what I've read......However Imam sadiq (as) did say that there will be some companions of our qaim (as) in the khurasani army that comes to defeat Sufyani in kufa (however not all only some).

Rectify a nice answer. Well, earlier I was wondering what could be the yellow flags from west. I searched a lot.. but couldn't find the answer but is Lebanon is in west (magrib). well its in west Asia I think.

HE WOULD RULE SIX MONTHS UNINTERUPTED. HE WOULD KILL THE SHIA, AND SLAUGHTERED WHAT WOULD BE INDICATED TO BE 100S TO MILLIONS. HE WOULD BOIL CHILDERN ALIVE, AND BEHEAD. AFTER SIX MONTHS A MAN WOULD COME OUT AND FIGHT HIM BEING QAIM MIN ALE MUHAMMAD. HE WOULD BE KILLED AFTER 8 MONTHS. HIS KINGDOM IS 8 MONTHS NOT A DAY LESS NOT A DAY MORE. THIS WOULD BE ON 23RD OF RAMADAN, ON A FRIDAY, IN A MONTH WHERE BOTH SOLOAR AND LUNAR ELCILPSE OCCUR. BEFORE FAJR SHAYTAN WOULD CRY FROM THE GROUND IN A FREIGHTING VOICE "UTHMAN AND THE COMPANIONS WERE RIGHT, REVENGE FOR UTHMAN" EVERY PERSON WOULD HEAR AND UNDERSTAND THESE CALLS. THE SECOND CALL WOULD CONFUSE THE PEOPLE. RAJAT WOULD BE ON ASHURA, WHICH WOULD FALL ON A SATURDAY.

Thanks for the explanation however had a few questions:

1) Yamani will have a white flag according to narrations, are you sure about yellow? Also never come across a Hadith where it says Yamani will be called hasan? Could you elaborate?

2) any chance you got that Hadith which says khurasani will have a injured hand?

3) isn't it the valley of yabis (Transjordan) according to hadiths where Sufyani emerges?

5) Sufyani won't reach Mecca as his army will be swallowed at al bayda. Any narrations elaborating on who will kill nafs Al zakiyya? According to hadiths I've read an army/police will enter the haram and take away nafs al zakiyyah and his companions and the people at the haram won't know who this army/police is......

okay looking at what rectify said, i'll try to answer as I am not my husband, so usually he has all the references. lol last time he went to Dearborn they were saying "how due you rememnber all these issuses shaykh" . the hadith about the yellow flag is less known, but graded as akhbar Wahid mowthaq. there is a narration mentioning "when the yellow flags come" IN A RIAWAYT OF IMAM SADIQ AS  "he says verily yamani name is sayyid Hassan" it is consider jawad or rare. that's why some people thought yellow flags, yamani mother Hassan = nasrallah. but my husband condsider that yamani will be a hassani sayyid from yemen who is ithna asheri al usuli and not houthi. the hadith about the injuried hand and the man like iron, he said refer to khomenei and Khamenei, however he considered sufayni, yamani and khorsanei to be 3 potential people in each area and that they all have to line up together, and that since zuhur and rajat aren't fixed that what causes is, but ho depends on the era. where as he took the opion of majalisi that dajjal has been alive since time of prophet sawa, and the main dajjal is one person. one of his good friends in najaf thinks its isarel or the western system. so the way we could read things vary. some people think the hadith about black flags is a sayyid and if we take white flags its a shaykh, rare but we heard it. as for who will kill nafs zakkiyah just from hanging around my hiusband and all his mashakin buddies at dinners (mashakin talk loud you can hear them from ladies side lol) there are many opions, but in general it would be a polticial leader or taghut from taghut system.

Narrated Al Shiekh Al Jalil Al Fadil ibn Shazan bin Al Khaleel (rest his soul) : Narrated to us via Mohammed bin Aby Umayr may Allah be pleased with him said: Narrated to us via Jameel bin Draj who said: Narrated to us via zrara bin A'aeen on Abu AbdAllah  (as): He said and the appearance of Al yamani from Al Yemen with whitebanners in 1 day, 1 month, 1 year.

 

2) According to the hadith below from the book Qiyamat Al Sughra, a man from yemen from the lineage of imam hasan (as) will lead an army which will be mainly Zaidi:

 

Imam Jafar Sadiq  (as) said By God, the Hasani Sayyed (the current leader of the Houthi army is a Hasani Sayyed his name is Syed Abdul Malik Houthi) will be knowing his leader (imam) but only to assure other people he will seek miracles. Four thousand Zaidi soldiers of Yemen (currently the whole of the Houthi army is Zaidi) belonging to the army of Hasani Sayyed will refute. They will be claiming Zaid the Martyr as their imam. Consequently Imam Mahdi will tell the Hasani Sayyed to persuade the Zaidi youths (meaning of Houthis is "the believing youth" and as we can see here imam  (as) is using the term "zaidi youths") to surrender. Negotiations will last for three days but Zaidis wont budge. At last all of them will be annihilated. (Page 28, Qiyamat Al Sugra)

Imam Jafar Sadiq  (as) said:

Keep silent and remain in your houses because no bad will affect you especially which will affect the rest of the people, and as long as the (revolutionary) Zaydites (Houthi army) will be as a front stead (barrier, or the actual definition of frontstead is the lawn in front of a house) between you and the Governments (Saudi Arabia, Sufyani (la), Egypt, etc)

Imam sadiq (as) is saying stay silent......yamani and his forces will confront the enemies of Allah for you......hadiths mentions the word frontstead......In the dictionary, frontstead means the front lawn/area of the house. So the zaidis will be a frontstead for you.

Although there are some hadiths which say to join yamani as well and denying him would be kafir however the political and religious climate will dictate the situation to come.....so we must wait and see how things progress.....

1. yellow flag mention in hadith found in Bihar and asrar zuhur

 

2. he has read the second hadith but without full insanad wont comment publicly on it. although in general he takes the hadith of imam sadiq as "yamani bayyah is the best bayah", also one of his teachers sayyid musawi had said that these hadiths indicate ithna asheris living in land of zaidis. on another occasion sayyid musawi said many houthi leaders are actuately shia ithna asheri in taqqiyyah.

 

3. inshallahi rabbulamin Allah will lift the veils ofd sin from the eyes of nas and bring his mashiyat imam zaman asj
