because the wild animals are slowly becoming endangered and are not needed for consumption of the stomach.

These are all bred to eat, yes its harsh, but unfortunately the game was built to be destroyed. Unless you can work about a better sustainable method, apart from, lets go green, which it self is nonsense.

People don't even care about humans being slaughtered, what makes you think they will care about animals?.

Actually I have a method, its easy, but I wasn't given the intelligence to become a billionaire, it seems GOD decided all the intelligent people with good ideas should be poor and the dumb guys with bad ideas to become rich.....

People do cry out over that, but there are clearly more people who dont care about animal welfare, or can easily put it our of their minds. When animals are considered units of merchandise then where is the care going to come from? whats worse it that animals who end up packaged as 'halal' meat are also treated like this. If you care, be a vegetarian/peskatarian and put your money where your mouth is (so to speak).

^ well, there have been several documentaries over the last 10 years and you do see articles in the news about farming practices. I think most people in UK know the difference between battery farmed chickens (and eggs) and free range. Theres plenty of info out there.

I think the media made more noise about caged hens than about many of these other things.

PETA has been protesting about this for years.  The difference here is the lion was an endangered animal needlessly killed for sport while chickens are plentiful and slaughtered for food.  Even though factory farms raise chickens in cruel conditions, most people can still find hunting justifiable when animals are killed for food or population control.
