Mistreated By A Major Uk Company

In a nutshell, my story is that the supermarket appears to have destroyed evidence that would have proven that it breached my contract and that it has made claims to have addressed the issues I raised but has never shown me any evidence to support its claims.

 

The human resources manager (in training) that I was instructed to see for further information about a forthcoming meeting openly declared on his personal Facebook page that he is "fluent in buls""t and sarcasm"

 

The supermarket has still not answered some important questions.

 

The supermarket still insists that it did not breach my contract.

I am having problems of getting any noteworthy attention.

 

I have been feeling depressed about this for a very long time now.

 

My case has been brushed under the carpet and the company has denied even the things that are written on paper. The company seems to be pleased that I have so far not been able to do anything about the matter.

 

I have learnt from this matter that the state of free legal advice in this country is very poor.

 

I feel forgotten and feel that I can easily be mistreated by big companies with near impunity. I feel my life has been a joke.

 

I am now out of time to take legal action against the company and the only thing I can think of doing now is publicizing the matter...but no one so far seems to care.

Time to move on, just like everything in life, if there is no evidence, one cannot do anything. Even if you get support, the court will throw it out as there is no evidence. Speculation does not work in court, neither do penny cases.

 

Or think of something new to get payback.

Time to move on, just like everything in life, if there is no evidence, one cannot do anything. Even if you get support, the court will throw it out as there is no evidence. Speculation does not work in court, neither do penny cases.

Please do not say there is no evidence without knowledge of the case. The link I posted clearly shows that a letter from a UK lawyer who believed my case to have merit.

 

I am trying to bring this matter to the attention of as many people as possible so that they can avoid something similar happening to themselves.

 

I have an email from the company's lawyer stating that they will take civil action against me should I publish the material I have (whilst naming the company). So, clearly the company doesn't want its reputation to be damaged.

 

I have irrefutable evidence of my claims. Otherwise the lawyer would have said that the company would take legal action against me for defamation/slander (which the lawyer did not say).

Seems like the same one. Not being funny or anything, but I think the OP needs psychological counselling rather than legal advice.

The lawyer contacted me within 24 hours when I wanted to tell just 500 people outside one of the company's stores about some of my allegations.

 

I think if I can tell enough people about my allegations I would have done my job and would leave this matter altogether.

 

All I can do now is damage the company's reputation by sharing with people the facts of what happened.

if the lawyers shows merit, why has not this taken up and go to court. The whole page seems confusing to be honest.

 

Have you studied the law system?, I am sure you are under no obligation unless you signed a contract regarding defamation, but even then you need to consider these specific terms. Lawful and Unlawful, and not legal or illegal. Something can be illegal, yet be lawful.

 

Also, I do not see you posting any advice here, what precautions do you hope others to take in future liabilities?, take a witness with them to HR? use their phone and record secretly?, have everything in writing?.

I am trying to correct what I see to be wrong in the company. Since the company has a tendency to ignore me and has made unsubstantiated claims to have addressed the issues I raised, I have decided to speak out against this company. Didn't the Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) command us to enjoin good and forbid evil physically, verbally and in our hearts?

Didn't Prophet Nuh (Peace be Upon Him) remain with his people for 950 years and still not everyone believed in him? [Quran 29:14 and 11:36]  Didn't he say that he does not ask for wealth and that his reward is only from Allah? [Quran 11:29]

 

I might not make any material gain by pursuing this matter. However, other than the initial writing and setting up of the page (whose link I have provided in my first post above), I am trying not to spend too much time on this matter. Much of the evidence is there for those interested to see for themselves.

Both the video and the writing on the link I have provided state that I was unable to prove that I suffered financial damages and that this is the reason why I did not pursue the case in court. I only found out about the breach long after the incident and so I had to challenge the case in a County Court. The rules are different in a County Court. The solicitor's letter show that he believed my case to have merit (but I was advised by other lawyers to not proceed as I did not suffer damages).

 

The page is not only about the breach of contract; it is also about the mistreatment and the way the company failed to answer questions.

I have thought of this. However, what would the petition request the company to do? I have been advised by a law centre to be careful as the company might try to make a claim for harassment. The company have expressed their stance and there is nothing more I can do. That is why I am no longer asking for any direct action from the company. I am simply trying to highlight their actions.
