Block or Ignore a Member?

How can I block a member?

go to "My Settings" then click 'Ignore' Preferences

After the recent upgrade at ShiaChat, you can block or ignore members that you wish. First click on your username at the top of the homepage, a drop down box will open, then click on "Ignored Users." See the image:

 

♦ A new page will open where you can type the username of the person you want to ignore. Then tic the boxes on or off to show or hide that member's posts, private messages (PMs) or signature, then save by clicking the "Add User" button. It is better to ignore than to get into a fight here. See the image:

Are you sure that you spelled the name correctly?

If you are trying to block a Moderator or Administrator, it won't work because they might need to contact you for various reasons.

Members, not mods or an admin.

Please restart your device and try to change your ignored user settings before any other activities.
