The miracles of the prophets have been quoted in quran where no dua was made  by the prophets for  these miracles to take place. the examples were quoted as below:

Take this, my shirt, and cast it over the face of my father; he will become seeing. And bring me your family, all together." (12:93)

And when the bearer of good tidings arrived, he cast it over his face, and he returned [once again] seeing. He said, "Did I not tell you that I know from Allah that which you do not know?" (12:96)

1- Why the  prophet Yousuf did not do dua to Allah swt for the prophet yaqoob seeing? Just a shirt was sufficient to bring seeing back?

[solomon] said, "O assembly [of jinn], which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?" 27:38

A powerful one from among the jinn said, "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy." 27:39

Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture, "I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you." And when [solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, "This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful - his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful - then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous." 27:40

2-Why the person or Prophet Daud  did not do Dua to bring the throne of bilqis? Yet it was done by whom having  a knowledge of the part of the book?

And those who have disbelieved say, "You are not a messenger." Say, [O Muhammad], "Sufficient is Allah as Witness between me and you, and [the witness of] whoever has knowledge of the Scripture." (13:43)

3- This is accepted who has a part of knowledge of book can make miracles as in above example, but it is denied whom has knowledge of the book ie Imam Ali or whom book has been revealed ie Prophet saww (and his chosen successors) are considered in capable to make miracles with permissions of Allah swt?

Why is this thought keeping in view the miracles of the Prophets given above?

These are miracles - one off events that Allah swt allows.

With regards to Yaqub  pbuh, who the shirt of Yusuf pbuh healed, it is extremely interesting for you to bring this paticular verse:

1. Yakub Pbuh never supplicated to Yusuf pbuh for him to grant or cure him. This is what Yakub pbuh said:

Holy Quran: (Yakub Pbuh) : "It is only to God that I complain of my deep grief and my sorrow: for I know, from God, something that you do not know."

Yes, the shirt of Yusuf pbuh by miracle and permission of Allah swt cured him, but did he supplicate to Yusuf, or did he show a sole reliance and trust and connection to Allah swt?

It is essential not to disconnect our selves from dua to Allah swt, from nurturing and building that relationship.

It is also a big assumption the power and help of Allah swt was not sought by these prophets pbuh. In the Quran the miracles are only done by Allah swt's permission and command - most of them from what i see. The ones not explicitly stated, we have no way of knowing what dua they made before hand.

I use this video a lot, but in this paticular case it is very relevant:

It is from another thread but relevant to the topic.

Yes, everything here is by God's permission.

The problem is where some think people who call Ahlulbayt for help are bypassing Allah. As if they are fooling God naeozobilah in a sense. And another problem is where some say "If He permits them" as if Ahlulbayt's will differs from Allah's. Allah has permitted them already.

Is it possible that Imam Ali wants something but Allah rejects that ? Ahlulbayt are not restricted to these materialistic restrictions of our life like makan and zaman (location and time). In other words there is no need in Bureaucratic affairs (= Calling Ahlulbayt and then evaluating by Allah and then getting or not getting permission for help!). There is no such a process.

Thanks for your reply on the post. The shirt of the prophet Yusuf cured with the permission of Allah to Yaqub as no one  has any doubt about it. This also confirms that the prophet Yusuf was aware of the position of the Prophet Yaqub and he sent his shirt.

No Muslim denies to make dua or supplication to Allah swt which is reserved for Almighty alone. and it should not be mixed up with the authority of Wali chosen by Allah swt (which is common in these threads).

However the response has been mentioned on question no 1 alone, The rest of 2 questions are not addressed including the question (no 3) about the capabilities of the Prophet Muhammad saww  and his chosen descendants to bring such miracles with the permission of Allah swt.

  Ahl al-Bayt and Knowledge

The Holy Qur’anic reads that when Prophet Sulayman (Solomon) sent back the emissaries of Queen Sheba, he said to the chiefs of his court:

He said: O chiefs! Which of you can bring to me her throne before they come to me in submission? One audacious among the Jinn said: I will bring it to you before you rise up from your place; and most surely I am strong and trusty for it. One who had the knowledge of the Book said: I will bring it to you in the twinkling of an eye. Then when he saw it settled besides him, he said: This is of the grace of my Lord that He may try me whether I am grateful or ungrateful; and whoever is grateful, he is grateful only for his own soul, and whoever is ungrateful, then surely my Lord is Self-sufficient, Honored. (27:38-40)

In another place of the Holy Qur’an, we read about one who has the knowledge of the Book:

And those who disbelieve say, “You are not a messenger.” Say, “Allah is sufficient as a witness between me and you. So is he who has knowledge of the Book.”(13:43)

In the earlier verse, the Arabic preposition min (of) that comes between`ilm (knowledge) and kitab (Book) means “part of”, whereas in the latter verse, there is nothing between these two words, meaning one who has the entire knowledge of the Book; one whose witness to Prophethood is the same as the witness of Allah. This one must be the most knowledgeable after the Holy Prophet. This person—as grand Shi`ite commentators, relying on narrations related to Ahl al-Bayt, and great Sunni commentators, relying on their own narrations, state—is no one but the Commander of the Faithful, Imam `Ali (a.s) who was not older than twenty!

Abu-Sa`id Khidri, a reporter of hadith accepted by Sunni scholars, says:

I asked Allah’s Messenger, “Who is the one intended by Allah’s saying, ‘so is he who the knowledge of the Book?’” The Holy Prophet answered, “He is my brother, `Ali ibn Abi-Talib.”[1]

Imam `Ali (a.s), having been asked about the meaning of the same verse, said:

I am the one with whom is the knowledge of the Book.[2]

When Imam al-Sadiq (a.s) was asked by `Abd al-Rahman ibn Kuthayr about the meaning of the following verse, “One who had the knowledge of the Book said: I will bring it to you in twinkling of an eye”, the Imam, spreading his fingers and putting them on his chest, said:

By Allah, the entire knowledge of the Book is with us.[3]

Referring to Ahl al-Bayt, Allah’s Messenger said:

Allah has told me: They are the treasurers of My Knowledge after you.[4]

Imam Zayn al-`Abidin (a.s) has said:

We are the gates to Allah; the straight path; the container of His knowledge; the interpreters of His revelation; the pillars of monotheism; and the closet of His secrets.[5]

[4] Al-Kafi: 193/1, H 4.
[5] Ma`ani al-Akhbar: 35, H 5.

Imam `Ali Amir al-Mu'minin (a.s) has said:

Beware! The knowledge brought down by Adam and the excellent deeds of the Prophets, up to the last one of them, is with the Progeny of the seal of the Prophets. So to which deviated way are you pushed and where are you going?[1]

The Holy Prophet has said:

We, the Ahl al-Bayt, are the keys of Mercy, the destination of the Prophetic mission, the haunt of angels, and the source of knowledge.[2]

Imam Zayn al-`Abidin has said:

Why do people harbor grudge against us? By Allah, we are the tree of Prophethood, the house of mercy, the source of knowledge and the haunt of angels.[3]

Ahl al-Bayt know the Chief Name (alism al-a`¨am) of Allah; they are familiar with all languages; they are aware of the past and the future; they have the knowledge of the Divine Books and they see what has happened and what will happen. Ahl al-Bayt are the House of Allah, Noah’s Ark, the Qur’an’s counterpart, the excellent people, those who are in authority, people of Reminder, roots of truths, source of Divine mission, pillars of world and guardians of faith.
